Started buying these a few months back for my two fish tanks. My fish seem to like them better and they’re supposed to be more beneficial and keep the tank cleaner. I wouldn’t know how they taste? Not sure why that’s one of the questions on the review thingy lol my fish have been enjoying them tho.

Prior to using these flakes for the fish in my aquarium, I was using another brand that had brightly colored flakes and the fished seemed to love it, but I noticed that with those flakes my tank water was getting cloudy after awhile despite feeding my fish the recommended amount of food. These flakes solved the problem. The first day my fish were skeptical to eat the new flakes (these flakes API Tropical..) but quickly adapted to them. While the color of the flakes on the label on the canister aren't as vividly bright as the actual product, the flakes still were up to my expectations...actually they exceeded my expectations. Fish love them, Tank water much clearer, = almost perfect THE SMELL: Now there are a few reviews on here I see about people saying that the flakes have a smell to them and I do agree with them, but not to the extent they are reporting. The smell is hard to describe, but it isn't anything crazy to be concerned by. The smell will last on your fingers a few seconds until you wipe them clean, but goes away quickly. In comparison to the other flakes I used prior to this product, they were almost odorless, but like I said the odor from these flakes is very subtle and goes away very quickly. I too was skeptical when I read reviews prior to my purchase about this. All in all I give it 4 out of 5 stars because of the slight odor, and also because the lid to the canister is sometimes hard to twist off, but the product itself is amazing and I highly recommend it.

The value for money, if I could give it 6 stars I would! Depending on the size/amount of fish you have. This can last such a long time! Flavor - well the fish seem to love it hah! Scent - Can be a little on the stinky side if you're not used to it at first but not the worst.

Great - just don't make the same mistake I did. This is a gigantic container of fish food. Like as big as my head. I'm laughing at myself - it'll feed my son's fish for life!

I have had a fish tank and have used a few different foods over the years. I like this brand as it seems to be digested well without a lot of 'waste'. The only place I could find this brand, and size container, was Amazon, so I am very happy with this product and Amazon for carrying it and for the value for my money!

Great size and I don't have to keep worrying about buying again for a while as this will last a long time and buying in bulk saves you time and money too

Yep. Fish eat it and it doesn't cloud the water or clog up the filter

LOL … Bigger than i expected, so good value. Need to manage how much you use as it breaks down pretty quickly and fills the tank like a snow globe. Very different experience to using my normal tetrafin pellets.

Almost in a powder form. Majority goes a waste in the tank.
