This bench is beautiful and very well made. The wood finish looks high quality and matches our dining table perfectly. It feels sturdy and provides great extra seating. It also makes the dining area look warm and modern. Very happy with this purchase!

Pleasantly surprised at the look of this. Not painted underneath thoroughly but for all of the parts that are important and that show, it is really beautiful. Futuristic looking with a wood looking texture. Though the instructions only had pictures, no words, it was easy to put together if you're good at it and did the first in 40 minutes and the 2nd in just over 20 minutes. Was purchased to go with my dining room table. Would buy again.

This tabletop has a grainy texture on the top. It does not align up squarely with the entire table. That being said, I got it on sale and plan to use it for a breakfast table or prep table. It is large enough to put the toaster, microwave etc. on one side and me on the other preparing things. Perfect for that I am using it for, and the price I got it for. I got this item for around 250. 1 hour install if you know about the washers causing the screws to not fit. I highly suggest skipping the sharp screws and or just putting them in very lightly. The Good Came well packaged. I just took off the side n opened the box like a treasure chest. Very easy to unpack. Can put a bench under neath it to save space Good prep table size and space Feels very sturdy, yet light enough to move around Perfect height for me for working using the table as a prep station. 5'8" Perfect height for me when I am sitting down on a bench and using the table for eating. 5'8" Main parts had stickers on them for easy installation. The bad Short people may not like where their elbows will lie on the table. I am 5' 8" and it is at the perfect level for me. Huge negatives on the install. Someone either was instructed wrong, or I got a bad batch. Hence the sale. To the point, the screw holes were so bad that I had to leave washers out of the install in order for screws to fit. Figuring this out took so much time. Instruction manual wasn't that bad but could have been better if the screws were in bags and labeled separately. No extra screws When the instructions tell you to tighten to 80 percent, it really means just enough to hold it in place. A rather unnecessary or unexpected course of events crossed my mind when it had me screw in sharp nails at the edge. I should have not screwed them in at all or just every so lightly. Over tightening the sharp screws, would mess up the top of your tabletop edge. My mess up earned me a sharp poke in my finger as I checked how bad the mistake was. I just put a sticker over it. Two stickers. Easy fix.

The table would look pretty good but a lot went wrong with this that ultimately end up with me repackaging and returning. There were two obvious cosmetic defects on 1/3 sections of the table top (see pic of black staining and a dent that was puttied over at the factory). After days waiting for customer service, they wanted to send me a touchup pen. Not sure how they thought a pen would fix a dent in the table, but I complained and they eventually sent a replacement part. I received the part two weeks later. During assembly, I found parts were very warped, bent (see pic) and did not fit together. Directions said to tighten everything to 80% before cranking to 100% but I found I had to loosen everything to and 25% to get to get the parts to fit together. After tightening, the edge of one of the table top sections cracked (see pic) which caused me to repack and return which was a huge pain. There were also very noticeable gaps between the table top sections. Again, this table would look pretty good if you can get it assembled, but the component design is very poor and does not accommodate for warping or expansion of wood. Pics of issues are attached.

Beautiful texture (wire brushed) adds a fun feel to the sturdy solid wood plank design. I was able to follow the instructions and assemble in 30 minutes. I’m still amazed how affordable this high quality table was.

I don't think the material is wood because its barely weighs anything and is super easy to clean. Was kind of a pain to put together but definitely worth it with how good it looks!!

Be aware that some parts might come chipped if you don’t mind that then it’s fine. Sometimes you can just paint over it but if it’s too large it doesn’t look. Aside for that the table is sturdy and seems good. I don’t think it’s worth the price. I like that it’s actual wood and not engineered wood. But still seems expensive specially when it comes slightly damaged.

Beautiful table! I ordered it 5 days ago and it arrived at my doorstep today in perfect condition, and great delivery from Amazon guys! It's also cheaper than buying on Plank + Bleam website. Plank + Bleam is a Californian registered company owned by a Danish and German husband and wife duo. Their products are pretty popular globally. My husband accidentally dropped a piece on one of the main panels and it did cause a teeny weeny small dent - but this is expected because Pine Wood is known for its flexibility and soft nature. It's perfect if you are on a budget and if you don't mind the rustic feel. Pine Wood tables are meant to have dents and scratches later, as you use them - that's the charm you get. If you don't want dents or scratches, then you will need to buy a hardwood table instead like oak or mahogany - which will be costly for many of us mere mortals. My cats love the table - and so far no scratches yet! But if they do scratch - we don't mind at all. I would be worried if my cats don't love the table. Also, the paint coat is safe and I highly recommend this table to anyone who is on a budget. We paired it with our antique Venetian chair and some dining table chairs. Too beautiful. Thank you Plank+Beam! We will get the 62 inch bench soon. And maybe another bigger table for our dining room lol. Bless you guys! Pic: Photo of our cat chilling on the table. Great quality, easy to assemble.

I purchased this table in October and was sadly unable to find suitable chairs to pair with the table so I decided to return the table before assembling it. To my surprise, the shipping cost was my responsibility so I decided the keep the table. Once the table was assembled, there was a large defect that looked like a burn in the middle of the table. At this point, I was outside of the return window so I did not bother to follow up with the company. The defect is in the middle of the table and is able to be covered easily. Fast forward to today, 2 months after assembly and I have notice a large crack going up the table lengthwise, about 3 inches. Again, outside the return window. I will attempt to follow up with the company but from the reviews, I don’t think I will have much luck. Overall, lovely table. Very aesthetically pleasing, nice colour, and sturdy but clearly not structurally sound with a large deep crack appearing in the surface after 2 months (minimal) use.

This bench is of lovely quality and stood up well to a family of 4 (including 2 fidgety kids). I did get a chip on the top at some point, but I think that was my fault. Feels very good quality but is light enough so it can be moved for ease of cleaning. Easy to assemble. Did it myself in about 20 minutes from my memory.
