Rich chocolate flavour
Absolutely delicious. I was very surprised that tea has a very rich chocolate flavour. I used 3 teaspoons and steeped it for 7 minutes. I'll also be trying a second steep with the husks to get a bit more out of them before I throw them away.I am an intermittent faster and this is the perfect addition to my up day meal.

Superior flavoured Cacao Tea
Although itโs slightly more expensive, I chose it because Origen is a small independent company. The product was ethically sourced and Origen deal directly with the indigenous tribes who live in and around the area the cacao pods are grown. The taste is definitely superior cheaper buys and itโs a caffeine free superfood thatโs low in calories and tastes like chocolate. Whatโs not to like

Outstanding Chocolate Tea
Reminds me of my grandmother's champorrado - except this one actually lowers my blood sugar. Great for pre & T2 diabetics.

Great Evening Drink
Impressed with artful and sustainable packaging. Aroma is inviting. Flavor is better than sugary artificially flavored hot chocolates that you are likely more used to. Great for diabetes or those watching their BMI unless high calorie milks and creams added. I add in a splash of hot steamed usda organic almond milk to provide a bit more alkalinity some of the time. Mostly I just drink it straight up. Theobromine content makes me feel better something like the feeling you get after and unexpected hug. I usually pair it with hot foods such as soups and stews. Super economic as per serving cost is minimal. More earthy than chocolate mixed or cut with sugar, milk or cocoa butter. It is a different taste than full on chocolate, but it's even better once your taste buds adjust to the unique flavors. Think hot chocolate all grown up minus liver damaging alcohol. I brew it with my Rishi glass tea pot, the smallest one available as it works very well. Once done with brewing, I walk outside and throw the grounds into my organic garden. Give it a try.

Nice
This tea is awesome. Need to put a decent amount in your tea strainer, but it has that chocolate taste. Add some sweetener and it's a nice drink. I thought I would go through the bag quickly, but no, there is a fair amount in there.

Wonderfully Light Cocoa, Hot Chocolate, and Coffee Alternative
I drink brew myself a cup of this wonderful, tea style drink several times in a given week. It doesn't taste like hot chocolate on its own, but rather tastes like chocolate made as a tea or a coffee - the flavor is there, but its vehicle is water. This may be weird for some people, so I don't expect it to be everyone's cup of tea, but it is definitely one of my favorite things now.It is purely cacao husk - no sugar, no other sweeteners, no dehydrated dairy. Nothing at all, making it perfect for those of us looking for a whole foods diet. And, you can always add honey and/or some cream to it if you want to land CLOSER to hot chocolate with the fuss of a longer, drawn out process, or the cane sugar. My only complaint about this particular product is the inner packaging it comes in. The film surrounding the husks is flimsy and tears easily, meaning that I transfer it almost immediately to another container. You may want to consider this as well.
