These worked great and allowed everyone to watch the solar eclipse.

They did the job and i was able to experience every part of the total eclipse. I was very satisfied and the viewing was truly amazing. The glasses were flimsy of course but for a few minutes of viewing it was just right. I think I might buy the plastic ones next time but only if I can catch it early when they sell it for a really good cheap price.

I was told Medical King was one of the good brands for solar glasses. These were on sale cheap. I drove out to see the April 2024 eclipse. I could see the partial eclipse just fine with these. I didn't get any good pics because my stupid phone wouldn't focus on the sun. I tried with the glasses and again with a welding helmet some guy had. Nothing. But the glasses themselves worked just fine. There were other people there with no prep so I got to be the hero handing out glasses to people. I had plenty. Keep in mind if you see a full solar eclipse like I did, you can take the glasses off at totality. 99% eclipse is kinda boring but 100% totality is mind blowing. As soon as the sun starts showing again, put the glasses back on to view. Or you can do like I did and just leave. I had already been there several hours waiting for totality, so 99% eclipse didn't interest me at all. I won a staring contest with the sun. Did you? I didn't think so. These glasses helped me win. Spain 2026. That's the next one. If you're going try to be in the center of totality. It lasts the longest there. It's worth the extra drive. Didn't work at all! Got them for the total solar eclipse in Spain, it was impossible to see through, they were too dark. Very disappointed!

El paquete llegó en perfecto estado, completo y dentro del plazo previsto. En mi caso incluía las 12 gafas y las 2 lentes fotográficas para smartphone. He probado tanto las gafas como las lentes y la experiencia ha sido muy buena. Con las gafas todo se ve prácticamente negro, excepto el sol, que aparece como un disco anaranjado, perfectamente redondo, nítido y muy atenuado. No deslumbra, ni molesta, ni produce ninguna sensación de incomodidad al observarlo, lo cual es el objetivo de unas gafas para eclipse: bloquear prácticamente toda la luz para poder mirar el sol con seguridad. No están pensadas para ver el paisaje, sino únicamente el sol. También he probado las lentes para la cámara de mi Samsung A57 (zoom x2) y funcionan muy bien. Sin la lente el sol aparece completamente brillante, mientras que con ella se aprecia mucho mejor el disco solar y las nubes que lo rodean. El paisaje adquiere un tono marrón, algo completamente normal con este tipo de filtro. Adjunto una fotografía comparativa sin lente y con lente para que se pueda apreciar la diferencia. He visto algunas reseñas indicando que no incluye el certificado. En mi caso sí venía una hoja con la información de la certificación y un código QR que dirige a la página donde puede consultarse el mismo certificado. También adjunto foto de la misma. De momento, mi experiencia ha sido totalmente satisfactoria. Después de probarlas, me siento segura y con confianza para utilizarlas durante el próximo eclipse del 12 de agosto. Edit 15.08.2026: Actualizo la reseña después de haber utilizado las gafas durante el eclipse del 12 de agosto de 2026. Después de probarlas durante el eclipse, puedo decir que mi experiencia ha sido totalmente satisfactoria. Las gafas funcionaron exactamente como esperaba: permitieron observar el sol de forma cómoda y sin deslumbramiento. Han pasado ya tres días desde el eclipse y mis ojos están perfectamente, sin ningún tipo de molestia, por lo que me quedo completamente tranquila y con total confianza para volver a utilizarlas en futuros eclipses. Así mismo puedo decir que las personas a las que regalé gafas del pack también están perfectamente. En cuanto a las lentes para el smartphone, aquí sí tengo que poner una pequeña pega. Con mi Samsung A57 me costó bastante conseguir una fotografía en condiciones. Durante buena parte del tiempo, al intentar enfocar y hacer la foto, en la pantalla solo veía una especie de forma anaranjada y amorfa que se parecía muy poco al Sol. Finalmente conseguí hacer una fotografía que sí quedó bien, pero me resultó bastante más complicado de lo que esperaba. En mi caso, por tanto, las gafas me han dado un resultado excelente, mientras que la lente para el móvil ha sido lo que más me ha costado utilizar. Eso sí, esta dificultad con la lente fotográfica no cambia en absoluto mi valoración del producto: sigo manteniendo las 5 estrellas. Añado también dos fotografías más tomadas durante el eclipse: una con el eclipse todavía en curso y otra correspondiente al momento del eclipse total. La segunda fotografía está hecha sin la lente fotográfica y la adjunto como pequeño regalo del resultado de este maravilloso fenómeno que hemos vivido. Después de haberlas utilizado realmente durante el eclipse, mi valoración inicial se mantiene y, de hecho, es todavía más positiva. Si estáis pensando en comprar unas gafas para los eclipses de 2027 y 2028, estas me han dado muy buen resultado y me siento completamente segura utilizándolas, siempre que se respeten las instrucciones y las condiciones de uso indicadas por el fabricante.
