Logitech Brio 100 Full HD Webcam for Meetings and Streaming

Plug and play product which works very well and good value. Picture is excellent.

So I made the switch from the fancy Brio 4K to this much simpler 'basic' Brio 100 and I am very happy. with Corporate laptops I dont get admin to install Logi software to set zoom etc and I found the default 4k FOV was just way too wide, it showed all of my office and people were spending more time nosing around my room that focusing on me in calls. I was finding myself using portrait blur more and more, and personally I just dont like it. People who blur have something to hide IYAM. With the return to office mandates it was immediately obvious that I wasnt in the office. Switching to the Brio 100 is a massive 'upgrade' to me. Firstly it is plug and play like the others, and works immediately on both my windows and my chromebooks, but secondly, more importantly, the Field of View (FOV) is really very very narrow. I believe of all webcams this is the narrowest without using software. It is only 58 degrees, versus the default 90 degrees on the 4k. So with the Brio 100 sat on my monitor an arms length in front of me I have my torso in shot from mid chest to about 2" above my head, and a width extending maybe 6" either side of me, It is absolutely perfect. I am beyond delighted. As for the video quality, well it looks pretty good to me, seems to deal with different lighting really well and doesn't get spooked by LED lights (the beams) that the 4K struggled with, and the colours look decent too. I have not used the Mic as I have a poly puck on my desk, but I suspect if anything like older webcams it'll suck Touchy feely? yeah its hard plastic, if you do touch it you'll find it wobbles around a bit, the privacy shield is a really basic plastic clip. It doesn't come with a travel pouch, the USB cable is an old Type A cable that is fixed to the camera. It has probably got a few years under its belt, but it works for me.. It is a shame that it doesnt support windows hello, but I knew it wouldn't, it just isn't in the right budget spot for that. but I can make do. No thrills, thrills...

The picture and mic quality are very good for a reasonably priced webcam (£29.99 June 2025). Some drawbacks include: a short cable, tends to sit a bit unevenly (some blue tack helps with this), weak positioning mechanism as well as partially obstructing a narrow bezel monitor. Definite improvement on a standard laptop webcam and could possibly be used for video-making in the correct lighting. I appreciate the privacy shutter however, you need to take care not to cover the mic with the privacy shutter when in use.

I am really impressed with the Logitech Brio 100. The video quality is excellent and very clear, and it literally works straight out of the box with zero fuss. The built-in light balancing and the privacy flap are great touches, and delivery was completely smooth with no issues whatsoever. Five stars, no problem!

Bought this to replace an older Logitech camera. Great brand - good quality camera and easy to set up. Clips easily to the top of my monitor. Small and lightweight, and I like being able to block the lens when I want. Can't comment on the microphone as I use a headset alongside.

Good value for money. Better resolution than my previous (super cheap) camera. Of course there are better cameras for a lot more money, but I found this one good enough.

I returned, no noticeable difference between this and inbuilt laptop charger.

Arrived on time. Plugged in the USB port and sound and video worked immediately. No separate audio cable which my old one had - all 1 USB

Really easy to use. The quality of the image is superb. It seats on the monitor or you can have it standing on a flat surface. The sliding shutter is a nice feature and works well. There are no instructions but you basically plug the USB cable to your PC. PDF instructions are free to download in the Logitech website anyway. I needed a camera for sporadic zoom meetings and this does the job.
