Kryptonite Evolution Mini-7 Bicycle U-Lock w/ 4’ KryptoFlex™ Double Loop Cable

As a new bike user, I was a bit worried about choosing the right lock and took some time before deciding on this one. After using it for the past three months, I haven’t had a single issue. It’s super strong, looks great, and is easy to carry around. Feels very secure and well made ... definitely a great choice.

Very good quality lock for push bike.

Very sturdy lock; been using it for around 6 months with barely any issues. The key gets slightly jammed in the lock sometimes which is a bit worrying but nothing major so far.

Not good for fatter posts or if you can’t get your bike right upto the post . But otherwise it’s brill

**Bike D-Lock Review** This is a very strong and sturdy D-lock, offering great security for the price. Used this lock for a couple of years now and it has never let me down, perfect size to fit round near enough everything you would want/need to lock your bike to. Not the lightest of locks but solid build quality adds to the security and trust of the lock. Would recommend to anyone who frequently looks their bike up for long periods of time through out the day.

I consider this a great lock. It has a really good price to value ratio. The lock is safe since it will require some pretty heavy machinery to cut it off. The bike carry ad-on makes it really easy to transport it around. The included flex cable is useful to secure other parts of the bike like the wheels. The ends are in O, which mean you can loop it and use it in all it's length. It also comes with a velcro so you can tie it to the Ulock while in transit. It comes with three keys, one of each has a built in led light so you can spot the keyhole in the dark. It also offers one year insurance for your bike, the only catch is that they only pay if the lock is violated, the flex cable is not covered. You can also extend the insurance beyond the included 1 year for a fee. Downsides so far are the rubbery rings that serve as cushion on the locking mechanism sometimes may come out when jiggling the lock on a pole. The key sometimes doesn't turn immediately and you have to jiggle it ever so slightly to turn. Do recommend.

I bought this lock after doing some research, and I'm really impressed with its durability. The steel cable adds an extra layer of security, which I appreciate. I also like the frame-mounted bracket—it rotates 360°, so you can adjust it to the most convenient angle. I chose to mount it on the rear triangle of the bike frame, and it fits perfectly without interfering with the bottle cage space. Its light enough when i consider regular ebike weights.

El tamaño es bueno para que encaje bajo el asiento de la bicicleta, de ser más largo no cabría en ninguna parte de mi bicicleta que es talla M. Se siente fuerte y seguro. El seguro contra robo que ofrece "Kryptonite" no aplica en mi país (México).
