Just put my boots on for the first time, out of the box OMG Soooo comfortable. I am 68 and for over 50 years have had to have Very light, Very soft heel, and prefer waterproof. So far 2 out 3 are GREAT. Iv'e had many brands and types of boots and not easy to please. Every time i find what i want and they work real well they stop making em. I have had a few with zippers, and for some odd reason Bates can't figure out that ya don't use a FINE zipper. Had 2 pair (cuz one was defective and they had me keep em) in a row, the absolute WORST boots ever. I have issues getting them on, but I got these without zips and love them. Easy on, could be D rings (my favorite) and do one easy tug but i'll get used to these. Oh, laces are to short to wrap around, and to long not to. Not complaining, might get second pair in a few weeks in case they stop making these. :)

Good lightweight boots

I have bought one other pair of boots of this type from amazon, they feel apart with in a month or so These free solders haven’t come apart and you don’t feel what ever you are walking on as if you are barefoot Now I would order a pair that’s black if you are going to wear as work boots these are nice as a casual wear shoe One year review excellent boots comfortable for constant wearing and work 30 pair of laces in a year Severely stained Soles wore out but all in all great shoes Last 3 pictures are a year old
