Needed so.e longer zips for bolster cushions, these were cheap enough, and as a prime member next day delivery at no cost.Do the job well.

It's taken a while, but having finally learned enough about using a sewing machine to make things a bit more adventurous than straight seams, I've finally found a use for these zips. My first project is a cushion and I'm very pleased with the result. I sewed the zip first, the only issue I had was the getting the needle guide to flow smoothly over the plastic of the zip. For the first side I sewed it closed, but for the second it was much easier open, with just the last section a bit fiddly.These are a very low priced set and I wouldn't consider using them in anything that required regular use, like clothing. But for a cushion they are ideal, since all of the stitching can be done on inside using a sewing machine with no closing by hand needed. I chose to leave the zip exposed rather than concealing, partly because this is much quicker, but also because the zip actually looks quite good along the edge of the cushion.And size wise they were perfect too, no need to trim or run longer filling seams.Great value.

Arrived in good time. I have used 4 of the zips already and I found them equal quality to the zips you may find for £5+ on the high street. I do support the high street but cannot get these things locally due to lock down. I prefer to go and see and handle my purchases usually. Buy with confidence these are well made and sturdy with a lovely flow to the zipper action without being loose; if you know what I mean? Very good would buy again.

I originally bought a 5 pack of zips to teach myself to put in a zip for a cushion never having tried before. I was surprised how good these nylon zips are and found very easy to insert. I had a try out using one zip on an oddment of material and it was a success. I then began making 12 cushions for our garden chairs and ordered an additional 2 packs. I am on my 9th cushion and have found these zips are strong enough despite them being inexpensive. I would definitely recommend these at this price they are a steal.

I often pull the zip off to see and then slide it back on but these are Impossible to get back on. Zip itself is ok though as long as you don’t need to do this
