GeeekPi 7 Inch LCD Screen for Raspberry Pi

Works amazing. The size and how portable it is, its unmatched. It connects super easily with the provided cords and the monitor looks great. Ive used it on much more then just my raspberry pi. I tend to use it when trouble shooting PCs

This is a great screen. I bought it to make a handheld x86 player (XP/VIsta era), so low-ish resolution. This supports more resolutions than it states. It can run/scale at 1920x1080, it is not the best looking 1920x1080 i've ever seen, but it does it and it's readable. Terminal text is readable at default size about 14 inches away. I am writing this review using it at %110 scaling in chrome @ 1920x1080 60. Attached is the edid for this screen. It is a little blue, i haven't messed with any color correction or anything yet, Games looked fine a vibrant. I enjoy making projects and this screen is great for the price.

I have used this monitor daily for the last few months. I have left it on continiously and used it as an "eyeball" monitor to see what other computers are doing on my network as I use a KVM switch. The monitor is small but easy to view, crystal clear resolution, and is bright when needed. The stand works well. I have no complaints. The monitor is not fragile.

My only issue is that I’m missing the hardware mounting screws. How can I get a replacement set?

This is a nice monitor with a bright and crisp display. It works perfectly with an HDMI input. Although not so advertised, you can actually set it for higher resolutions than 1024x600 . I suggest you protect the back end with some sort of insulation, as chips are exposed on the back side.

First one I ordered was heavily scratched, so I returned it and got a second one. That one was heavily scratched too. I didn't bother treating the functionality because they looked so bad. It was worse than 10 year old plexiglass...

In terms of functions and features, this is a nice 7-inch monitor. I use it on my server rack as a backup display when I am unable to remote in, and it works well for that purpose. The touch screen is a nice, er, touch, as well. That said, the reason for the average rating is that this thing is delicate. I broke off one of the stands when simply moving it across my rack shelf—it has grates in it for airflow and it got caught in one—and the screen gets scratch just by looking it at. OK, not really, but it is really prone to scratching, so get a screen protector.

Perfect for some mini arcades I designed. Those that complained about scratches clearly didn't realize they needed to remove the screen protector it ships with.

Dudes exactly what it says and looks good. Bought it to run aida64 and use as an external monitor. Some people said in reviews it arrived scratched, I thought so with the one I received too but then it dawned on me it may have a screen protector/film for shipping, and it does! It’s VERY well fitted and attached so easy to miss, but it is meant to be removed and underneath it’s perfect. If yours looks scratched, it’s not, it’s the film and you need to carefully scrape at a corner to get it off.

Great little screen. Good colours and brightness. Fully functional when powered only by USB A.

Good for monitoring PC sensors

Costs a bit more than some other options but this is a smaller form factor and screen pixels just up to the edge of the screen. Others i have tied either have black bands on the side or big tabs that stick out for screw holes. This one has stand offs on the back to attack the included stand or mount into your project.
