If you layer you bedding, sheet, blanket and this you might find yourself getting to warm, but my husband is happy because ge stays colder. Daughter loves hers and has no complaint.

**Q: I want comfort without the heat. Will this work?**
A: Definitely- I don’t experience any extra heat with this cotton top!!

**Q: Is the bed pad really puffy like it looks in the air or is it going to be flat when I take it out**
A: that’s what it looks like on my bed. my mattress is memory foam so flat but the pad is puffy even after a month or more
of use. I’m very happy with it.

**Q: is it cool?**
A: I measure the coolness the same way I measure my cats saliva. A droplet a day keeps the AC at bay.

**Q: How many years did this topper last for those who have had it for a long time?**
A: I have had one for three years now, and another one I just purchased.  They are very good quality, so I think how long they last would depend on how many times you wash it per year, and how many stains it accumulates over the years.  My three-year-old mattress cover still looks as new as the one I just purchased.

i was not a fan of this comforter. upon immediate unboxing, i noticed it was nowhere near the same as the photos suggested… different appearance, and different thickness. this is to be expected, but the comforter was so much more thin than i thought. after letting it expand fully, and washing + drying it, it was just miserably thin. the stuffing inside is light and minimal. it didn’t provide much warmth, but it was doable with extra layers added. next thing is the quality of the fabric- everything sticks to it. animal hair, lint, you name it, and it will probably stick to this comforter…including odors. so this was not great for my husband which sweats constantly in his sleep. no amount of washing could keep the smells of sweat off of it. i have never had this issue with any other comforter, so this was a strange experience. however, this isn’t necessarily a shortcoming on the quality of this product, just something to note if you or someone you share the bed with is also sweaty. overall, for the price, it’s not terrible. i definitely would never buy this again, but it works.
