Modify the recipe.
I modified the recipe to 1.25kg of sugar at 17ltrs and I waited 6 weeks until I bottled it and then another 10 days for it to carbonate after being primed. It's lovely and my friends have enjoyed it as well.

beware this is not just simple just add water you need a full home brew kit.
