I purchased this fireplace back in June and could not be more pleased. Full renovation has been happening since May and finally making progress on my fireplace. The surround has not been completed, but I wanted to take a moment on my first night using the fireplace to let everyone know the extra effort that the seller made to ensure I received the fireplace with no issues. We are very happy with the fairly realistic look of the fireplace. It was very easy to set up and install if you are fairly handy. It requires a bit of framing and a regular outlet. IMO this is much more realistic flame than on the HD video fireplaces that are getting common and much better than the inexpensive knock-offs. Worth the money if you can swing it. I removed the existing vent free gas fireplace and replaced it with this insert. I was able to construct the framing behind the opening without tearing out my surround. I used the bottom grate of my old fireplace to fill the extra space at the bottom and love how it came out. The crackling sound in my video is actually from a $20 bluetooth speaker (also from Amazon) beneath the fireplace. I added that because this fireplace does not have a sound feature.

I got a very polite text telling me I’d get the fireplace earlier and with free freight shipping care of the sellers. The electrician made a mistake on the wiring so I texted the company and they gave me detailed instructions. It turned out to be a very easy fix. The heat is decent- and steady. The house is definitely a lot warmer. It looks beautiful and the flame effect is very realistic and calming. The size was as described in Amazon and looks like a real fire. It’s worth every penny- of good quality yet price is reasonable. It feels like it will be long lasting. I never write reviews but needed to for this company! It’s a rare find!

I struggled for years not having a fireplace and really wanting one and this is a perfect solution from my house! It looks realistic and makes the place so cozy!

Nice fireplace with a realistic flame; however, the glass panel was horrendous to install. Tiny little screws and crappy directions. Once we did get it installed after much fooling around it looks great.
