This worked perfectly for rebuilding an f type 3.0 v6. Make sure the cam lobe is facing the right way or you won't be able to get the timing to align.

I purchased this kit to use on a Jaguar 5.0 engine. The crankshaft timing pin needed re shaping to fit as the screw hole did not align when the square peg was in the hole in the reluctor. Further more the valve cover alignment tool is far too big and could not be used. It doesn't fit the aperture in the valve cover.

It was time to replace the timing chains on my engine, and I’m glad this kit exists. It offers great value for the quality and includes everything needed to get the job done. Overall, the tools were durable and fit all the required engine components perfectly. The only issue I ran into was a poor casting on the alignment pin for the vacuum pump alignment tool, which I ended up replacing. Aside from that minor hiccup, the kit performed exactly as expected and held up well throughout the job.
