These trains have held up to my 2 and 4 year old playing with them A LOT! They are sturdy and well loved by the kids. With the dual set of wheels they glide around the track easier than some trains and they are very "realistic" for the price of wooden trains.

One day, while babysitting my three-year-old grandson, he caught me looking at accessories for his wooden train set. He plopped down next to me on the sofa and started scrolling with me. When we got to this set of “vehicles” he stopped me and confidently stated “this one.” So who was I to argue with that! I suggested that it was something to ask Santa to bring for Christmas. And when he opened the package, he was thrilled and immediately asked for it to be opened. So, as my mother used to say, “no surprise is the best surprise!”

What a cute lil train set! Bought for grandsons who are 4 yrs old and they love it. They have a wooden track they use which wasn’t included. The magnets used to keep cars together are strong so the cars do stay connected.
