Using the Lensmate Quick-Change Filter Adapter kit, only the tiny receiver stays on the camera (it adds only 3mm to the depth of the camera). The filter/filter holder assembly bayonets onto the receiver for quick changes without having to thread the filter on and off. The filter holder is retained by a low tension locking system, so very little torque is applied to the lens barrel when attaching and detaching it. Review: enables standard filters - Wanted to use polarizer and neutral density filters for landscapes and waterscapes using my ZS200. This does the job. Easy to install precisely centered with a provided ring, Hopefully the adhesive will be secure for a few years. 52mm filter size seems very good to avoid vignetting. The filter attachment part mounted to the camera barely changes the camera thickness or weight. With the removable filter mount part, plus a filter, and the provided lens cap, the camera still fits in my small LowePro bag. Review: Doesn’t stick - I was skeptical of this adaptor staying put with adhesive and sure enough, it did not. Fell off after five days. I meticulously followed the installation instructions, but had the same result as some other reviewers. Rather than having the hassle of returning it and getting another that I think would probably just fall off also, I super glued it on. So far, so good and I suppose it’s on there permanently now. Lensmates makes a separate model that fits the zs100. They are not interchangeable because the front lens profile for the two cameras is different. I had to pay for and order a replacement stick on ring *by T***. on 14 March 2024* The so-called instructions are only "tips" recommending to attach (or remove) the filters on the threaded ring while it's not attached to the camera. That's it. Oh... They do say how to use the removal tool, to remove the part that sticks on the camera lens, then it'll be worthless because the adhesive will be compromised. There's NOTHING about how to install it. So now I need to pay $10 (plus shipping and tax) to order another adapter ring. I then watched YouTube video (to late) that truly showed how to install it.
