I strongly recommend these fixings. **Q: Can these be usee to mount a 55 inch tv on non sturdy wall?** A: Dear Jay, The cavity fixings can be used on a plaster board wall to hold up to 20kg , on a MDF wall to hold up to 50kg and on a plywood wall to hold up to 70kg. It all depends on what your wall is made of and how heavy is the TV. I hope this helps. Kind regards, Arttex team **Q: Can any screws be used with these?** A: Yes, within reason but chipboard screws with parallel threads are best. They will not take traditional wood screws with tapered threads. Also, be aware, that for the fastener to open properly, there has to be enough hollow behind the plasterboard for the fixing to spring open. **Q: What type of screws do they take, wood screws or machine screws ? both seem to be depiced in the Ad',** A: I used wood screws, which worked fine. However it seems like you use either. ## Frequently Bought Together - fischer 537260 Cavity Fixing, Red/Grey, DUOTEC 10, Set of 20 Pieces - TOGGLER SNAPTOGGLE BB Toggle Anchor, Zinc-Plated Steel Channel, Made in US, 3/8" to 3-5/8" Grip Range, for 1/4"-20 UNC Fastener Size (Pack of 100) - fischer DuoBlade S 25 Pieces Self-Drilling Drywall Anchor Metal Tip with Chipboard Screw for Fast and Easy Installation, Applications for Mirrors, Lamps, Pcitures, Blinds, Curtain Rods etc --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/56769289-duotec-10-plasterboard-toggle-fixings-for-cavity-walls-20-pcs](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/56769289-duotec-10-plasterboard-toggle-fixings-for-cavity-walls-20-pcs) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
