The heart and soul of Fitbit with a Google spin!
I have been a Fitbit owner for AGES, technically even an early adopted with the original Fitbit charge, and this watch definitely has the heart and soul of Fitbit with the Fitbit sensors which give great accuracy on heart rate. The display is super crisp as well, and in the always on display mode some pixels actually shut off to save battery while still maintaining some quality. The casing of the watch as well is not anodized which is a plus for anyone who wears their watch doing anything other than a desk job, no scratches or dings will reveal a ugly silver under the color of it because the material is actually that color.

Great gift for anyone, but especially older people
I got this watch for my mom after doing a lot of research on different watches. I picked this one specifically for the fall detection, the ability to contact emergency services and the ability to make/receive calls without having her phone nearby. I bought the Google Pixel one watch prior to purchasing this and after multiple calls with technical support we still could not get the fall detection set up. So we decided to upgrade to the Google Pixel 2 and I'm very happy we did. My mom absolutely loves the watch! It's been enjoyable to get her set up and individualize the features for her. She said it has a good battery life. I feel much safer knowing that she's wearing the watch in case there is an emergency and I can reach her whenever.

I liked my Charge 5 a bit better
Comparisons: Before I bought this crap watch I had the Fitbit Charge 5 costing 100 dollars Update: I don't even use it that much because the battery needs constant recharging. Now it only last not even a 12 hours. It may be less than that. The battery lasted all week where the pixel only lasts a day. Fancy features need to match battery or rather battery should match fancy features Also the face of charge 5 was a bit small but doesn't swallow my small wrists like the pixel almost does. At least the pixel (41mm) is not as large as the Samsung 6 watch (44mm). I was comparing Samsung 6 and Pixel. Size was one of the reasons I went with Pixel. Both companies need to work on their inclusivity of women in their products (size). At least with pixel you only have to shrink the frame/bezel size and that should do the trick. Can't easily get to what I use most: the hourly step goal. It's frustrating because you can customize what tiles you want and customize your watch face with all kinds of metrics including moon phase, UV index and sunrise and sunset yet not the hourly steps-like how many is left for this hour and/or how many have I stepped in the hour. I have to do a bit of digging to get to this. On the Charge 5 I got to it very easily. Google has some work to do on their Pixels before getting to Fitbit Charge 5 level especially for the money I paid for it. Charging that much money your watch better be far superior. It doesn't even reach the Charge 5. It's just a little fancy with tiles and watch faces and that's it.

It didn't come charged
Thought it didn't work, but it just needed to charge overnight. So far, good.

Good Watch, really good graphic but it needs more default bands
Good watch, a lot of features, and an excellent OS, I only miss a 43mm size and a variety of bands to be chosen by default without extra payment.

Perfect bezel size for small wrist!
I like the round bezel vs. square that most smart watches have. It doesn't feel or look bulky. Easy set up and navigation.

Small enough for my wife
My wife has very small wrists and this is the only smart watch I could find that was not to big.

A few issues but on the whole great!
My biggest complaint is with the steps tracking it's definitely not accurate and sometimes counts when I'm driving. Other than that I have had no issues, even the battery life gives me two days which is unusual apparently. I would definitely recommend!
