Works well for FM stations below 88 MHz
I needed a radio for a convention where the program would be broadcast in the frequency range of 72-76 MHz. Most radios only go down to about 88 MHz. So this was a great option. It worked great. The battery lasted about a day, so I needed to replace them each evening to make sure it didn't die during the program the following day. Keep the instruction booklet since the instructions for setting the various functions ar not that obvious.

Cheaply made. A waste of money.
It stopped working after four uses. Before it stopped working it started to cut in and out. Was not a stable connection. Then the “on” button quit working even with good batteries. It quit one month past the return date so this was a waste of our money.

Works
I like the small size, the clarity of sound, & that earbuds are included. Was surprised that the two AAA batteries were NOT included.

Perfect for lower band
Works in lower 70's ...

Its cheap, works for a few stations but
doesn't catch a lot of stations. The other downside is that it has only 4 presets, battery doesn't last too long.

junk
Bought 4 of these radios after being impressed by the first one. Should have given it more time since after a month or so of use, the two I used now have the same problem of shutting off at intervals, sometimes almost immediately, at other times after a minute or so, NOT related to the batteries.Had I reviewed them earlier I certainly would have given them a 5 star review.Don't waste your money on this junk.

Works great
Lightweight and easy to use. The lanyard was helpful and the sound quality was ideal. Used it in an indoor setting during a convention for less distortion over the loud speakers.

Good for a wireless headset.
This receiver goes all the way down to 60 MHz, so I can use a Signstek transmitter, and use the Exmax as a receiver without bothering the neighbors who's receivers likely only go down to 88MHz. The batteries last a long time. I use NMHi's and they go for a 24 hours or more. Sound is OK with the stock earphones. I use it for talk radio, and Youtube news, but I would get better earphones if I was using it for music.
