It delivers a sophisticated brown base with blue-gray accents that deepen with glaze thickness, simulating Cone 10 reduction effects without specialized kilns. Ideal for layering with other AMACO glazes, it offers rich gloss and texture on stoneware and porcelain, covering 10-15 sq ft per pint. Perfect for artists seeking professional, gallery-worthy finishes. ## Description AMACO Potter's Choice PC-33 Iron Lustre High Fire Glaze, more restrained but similar to a regular blue liquid ceramic pottery glaze, is brown where thin with blue-gray floats where thick. Apply to Cone 04 bisque, then fire to Cone 5-6. Iron Lustre is beautiful on texture and layers well with other Potter's Choice glazes. 16 oz. (473 mL) jar. Layerable mid-high fire (Cone 5-6) AMACO Potter's Choice "PC" Glazes are a collection of potters' favorites made easy! Fired in oxidation, they are designed for artists desiring Cone 10 reduction effects without using a reduction gas kiln or firing at high temperatures. Suitable for all AMACO stoneware and porcelain clays. Great for layering with other AMACO Potter’s Choice Glazes, AMACO Celadon "C" Glazes, and AMACO Shino "SH" Glazes. Read labels carefully for best results, as some colors require special applications, such as uneven, thin, or multiple coats of glaze. ## Features - Amaco Potter's Choice Glaze - Pint, Iron Lustre - Iron Lustre - 16 oz (473 ml) ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00A6WPZXY | | ASIN | B00A6WPZXY | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Brand Name | AMACO | | Color | Black | | Color Code | #2F4F4F | | Container Type | Jar | | Coverage | 10-15 sq ft/pint | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 4.8 out of 5 stars (324) | | Customer reviews | 4.8 4.8 out of 5 stars (324) | | Date First Available | 18 September 2023 | | Dry Time In Hours | 24 | | Finish Type | Gloss | | Full Cure Time | 24 Hours | | Included Components | PC-33 Iron Lustre, 16 oz.
