Worked as described. My door handles are now tightly fixed and been a month now with no new play observed. Positions of areas to trim length didn’t meet what I considered a standard uk door depth, but a careful hacksaw and debur ensures optimum fit.

Not pretty but will bolt handles together so they don't fall off

After changing all my downstairs doors and fitting new door furniture it was so annoying that one doorhandle in particular kept coming loose. so I invested in these bolts - spent a couple of hours changing all the bolts on 7 doors and no more issues. I will be sure to fit these on every door from now on.

Unfortunately hole in handle was 4mm. So I assumed I needed 4mm set. Male screw 4mm yet female side was 5mm. So did not fit my handles. Had to return. No prob. with Amazon .👍

They chew immediately. Awful quality product, just avoid completely

Much more extra work than I anticipated. The female screw is miles too big to fit through the screw hole in my door handles and I had trouble finding new door handles with holes big enough for this through bolt. I ended up having to buy a powerful drill to drill through the holes in my current door handles to make them big enough to use this product. Once I'd done all the extra steps, the through bolt works well and keeps the handles secure. I would recommend it for anyone with cheap hollow doors
