Great value, thick and cozy for chickens
I've tried many different nesting pads and these are my favorite. They're nice a thick and easy to fluff/stretch to fill the nest box. I've never had a broken egg using these. They are a good value for the price too.

Works much better than loose straw!
We have recently updated our old nest boxes for some new ones that are slanted, and the bottoms are plastic. The hens don't seem to like the plastic for sitting and when we put straw in the nests, the straw often slides down into the egg-catching receptacle. These nesting pads are made from some straw-like fiber that is glued to paper. They are actually big enough that we can tear them into 4 pieces and stuff them in the nesting box. It lasts a long time and we just need to shake them out now and then, to remove any chicken droppings. If we hav an egg that breaks and makes it nasty, we remove it, but one box lasts a long time! We have 8 nests, but of course the silly hens only use about half of them, so some of the nest boxes stay clean for a really long time!

Wonderful solution for my backyard hens!
I have a chicken coop with a dozen chickens and I had been previously using Aspen shavings as bedding in their nest boxes. I purchased these when I built a new coop and wanted to try something else for the next boxes. The bedding is soft, highly absorbent, stays clean and once the chickens get in there they can arrange the fibers how they like it. It usually doesn't take them long to make a nest out of it. I love the paper bottom that holds the whole thing together and makes it super easy to clean. I find that I don't have to change these nearly as much as I used to with the old bedding I used, and my chickens don't tend to poop in their nests with this stuff. The other day I came back to see a nest box I had poop in it and all it took was to remove the old pad and replace it with a new one. Easy as pie. I compost the used up pads. These were a game changer. Very satisfied, if you have backyard flock and want to make their nests as cozy as possible I highly recommend these!

Nice product
I go through a lot of these nesting pads. This particular one is less expensive, yet is just as good as others I have bought. It also comes in a box instead of a shrink-wrapped cellophane. This makes it much nicer for pulling out or two to use and protecting the remainder.

Less mess, cozier!
I was tired with normal bedding of the mess my chickens were creating in my tiny tractor so I bought this instead and so far I am loving it and the chickens too! Way easier to clean even if pricier I don t waste bedding so at the end it s a win-win!
