SahaScalp Wild Ginger Purifying Scrub

I’ve been using this scalp purifying scrub for the past few days and have already used it a few times. After every use, my scalp feels so clean and refreshed—without any irritation. It’s really helped reduce buildup, and I’ve noticed that I don’t need to wash my hair as often as before. The texture is really, really nice, and after each use my hair feels stronger and looks much cleaner overall. I would highly recommend this product! It is a bit pricey, but if you can find it on a deal—or don’t mind spending a little extra—it’s absolutely worth the money.

My teen daughter suffers badly with oily dandruff – the worst type which results in itchy build up but also a greasy scalp. We've tried various treatments, including medicated anti-fungal ones, but this was the first time trying a scrub like this and WOW, what a difference. This scrub is sublime. It smells really nice (not overly of ginger actually). It's a paste which is thick with Himalayan salt. My advice is really take your time with this treatment. You need to properly work it through the hair to get deep into the roots and all over the scalp. Massage it in thoroughly and gently. After massaging though, we left it on her hair for about 10 minutes. The instructions say simply rinse, but because it is a little oily, she also used a silicon free shampoo, followed by her normal conditioner through the ends. As soon as I started blow drying her hair I could see the difference immediately. Purifying is the buzz word and her hair was the cleanest I've seen it for years. No greasiness, and no flakes in sight. Just really soft and silky. Utterly purified! What's really nice about this product is it does feel natural rather than medical. My daughter has quite thick hair and probably for that reason we used more than a tablespoon (maybe one and a half). There are easily another 3 or 4 treatments left in the pot. Of everything we've tried, this is 100% the most impressive treatment we've used for her oily dandruff, and I can thoroughly recommend it. It's absolutely worth the money!

Can’t say I see or feel a huge change after using this product. Nice scrub, I’m ok with smell but for me it’s just overpriced stuff (and I bought in with deep price cut). Won’t repeat the purchase

I had never used a scrub for my scalp before so wasn't sure what to expect. I'm also not a huge fan of ginger so was worried about this product being too strongly scented of ginger. However, as soon as I used it for the first time, all my concerns disappeared as I fell in love with this product! I had expected this to be just a scrub but it's actually a sort of shampoo as well, as you don't need a separate application of shampoo with it. It cleans the scalp and hair amazingly well, I have never felt my hair so clean and my scalp so revitalised! It also smells amazing - not gingery, just a very pleasant, luxurious floral scent that's not overpowering, yet you can still smell it on your hair the next day. I absolutely love it. You need to use conditioner after it, I just use my usual brand and my hair looks fab. My hair is coloured and the product is gentle enough to not have affected the colour. The recommendation is to use this once a week, which is what I've been doing, and I now really look forward to the night when I use this. It feels like such a luxurious treat. All in all, I am over the moon with this, and I am looking forward to trying other products in this range as I am a total convert now.

I'm normally very hesitant to try new brands of hair care products because I have very oily roots which doesn't benefit from product build up! I also annoyingly get dandruff if I don't use things like head and shoulders - but this seems to create huge product build up over time which I just cant seem to remove in one wash. This product is my new favourite go to, I have told so many of my friends about this scalp scrub because for the first time in my life (literally) i can now remove all product build up in one wash whilst also not having to worry about dandruff as a consequence of not using head and shoulders because this scrub literally rejuvenates my scalp. I've used it multiple times now and my hair feels so so soft but not greasy or oily at all. The only way I can describe it is the same way your hair feels when you've been to the salon and have had a good hair cleanse and hair trim!!! It might be a fluke but I have also noticed that I am having to wash my hair less frequently too which is an added bonus which will likely help my hair growth because my natural hair oils will get more time to absorb into hair follicles. Oh and the smell is divine. Recommend this 100%, you will not be disappointed!

My hair type is low porosity with oily scalp and dry ends. I sometimes get a little dandruff but not much I got this to try and help with my oily scalp to clear any build up and keep it fresh but nope this product is too over stripping of my hair leaving it really stripped and giving it a soiled overly squeeky feel with no oily whatsoever

Arrived in retail packaging. The smell isn’t too strong and has a fresh, clean floral smell. I don’t like ginger much, but I didn’t find it off putting with the other ingredients. The texture is similar in texture to wet sand and adding extra water to your hair will help it flow to the roots. To help me clean my scalp gently I used a scalp scrubber to make sure I wasn’t irritating the scalp. I did not follow with shampoo and went straight to conditioner. The experience was luxurious and after just one use my scalp is clear of flakes and feels soothed. This is a luxury priced item but they quality is there. There are a lot of similar priced items so if you are used to buying items at this price then it is normal, this one at least I feel is worth the price and it isn’t just for a brand name. Will be a lovely treatment to do every other week time. Compared to other scalp treatments this is my favourite I have tried. Perfect gift for a spa basket.

I went by the reviews and the description. I was hoping for a deep scalp cleanse based on the ginger, and purifying properties and the fact that its a scrub. Unfortunately I seem to have had a completely difference experience to other reviewers. I have an oily scalp which I wash every other day with sulphate free shampoos. I was planning to incorporate a scrub as an alternative to the occasional sulphate based shampooing (as i don't use products on my hair other than shampoo and conditioner). This scrub struggled to lather on the first attempt and I ended up having to shampoo with my regular sulphate free shampoo first and go again with this scrub. Second time round it lathered loads. The scent was heavy and chemically (reminded me of salon products- not gingery at all). My hair was squeaky after rinsing out, but once it had air dried, I found it felt weighed down, and like it had left a residue on the oiliest section of my head. The scent lingered, but not in a nice way. Despite using warm water it felt as though it had left a layer on my scalp, hair and surrounding skin. My scalp felt more congested than before and I have not used it again since. I will give it another go at some point and if things change I will edit this review.
