For Galaxy S21 FE SM-G990 Series Battery Replacement, EB-BG990ABY

I was away visiting family when I noticed the back of my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra was separating from the rest of the phone, the dreaded battery bulge at play. It's a few years old, and I could have replaced it, but I wasn't ready to do that, as the phone does everything I want, it's set up just the way I want, I'm really happy with it, and it's due to get its last update next month, One UI 8.5. So given all that, I decided to buy this kit and replace the battery. The kit comes with everything you need, the battery itself, as well as all the tools you need to do the repair. It does take patience, as I read where a number of people cracked the rear cover and had to buy a new one. So with that, I took my wife's hair dryer and heated up the back of the phone, and then, started where it has already begun to separate and carefully worked my way around. I had to use the hair dryer a couple of more times to soften the adhesive and then, finally, I was able to pull it free. The instructions guide you for the rest of the disassembly process, and if they're unclear to you, there are several YouTube videos available which walk you through the disassembly. You just want to take your time, be careful, and make sure that you don't lose the screws that you have to remove. Getting the old battery out is another process, as they also use adhesive on the underside of it, but the kit has a nice tool to aid in removal. The new battery comes with adhesive, so you simply peel off the protective layer and put the battery in place. Then you essentially follow the directions in reverse to put all the cables and screws that you removed back in place. Before installing the back panel, I fired up the phone to make sure everything worked, and it did. The kit also contains new new adhesive for the back panel, and you just want to use care to position it in place. I was very careful at this stage because I wanted the phone to look perfect just as it came from the factory, and it did. All in all, because I was patient, didn't rush, and took care with the repair, it took an hour from start to finish. My advice is to fully charge the battery, plus leave it on charge for 2 additional hours before first use. This kit has everything you need to replace your phone's battery, and anyone with reasonable mechanical skills and patience should be able to do the repair. I highly recommend this kit because of the quality, instructions, and completeness. For about $20, rather than the $100 and a day or so at the repair center, you can do this yourself.

Thank you for the smalll details. Photo instructions, all the tools, the screwdriver was even magnitized and some pointers on installations. I think this is my second buy the last one lasted maybe two years.

kit didnt come with all the parts. used instructions from a different company. As it fit the phone the light up portion of the screen was smaller and only to the flat portion. There was no sticky to put the front camera back on properly. The screen glitches constantly and require to reset the phone to use, which happens once a week. the screen is burn out now and already requires a new screen after 2 months of use. its best to get all instructions for installation elsewhere.

Good product. Says what it does and has easy instructions. I liked it so much that I bought one for my other phone.

Came so discharged; i thought i messed up the replacement somehow. Otherwise it seems fine and holds a charge Slightly smaller than original battery The tools are actually handy too

So far it's perfect on my s24 ultra, att. Can't speak for longevity just yet. The tools were perfect that came with. Watch a couple videos and it's not terrible.

Working for now. The power connector from the battery to the board is not good. There is no "click" in place. Disconnected a few times when putting back together.

My phone works now. Ordered "Get It Tomorrow" but i didnt. Shipping delay w amazon, not the seller, tracking showed it out for delivery and delivery time kept getting later & later, at 9pm it showed returning to facility delayed another day.
