I passed
Between using this and a recommended app I passed first try. Would definitely recommend using a few different resources but this was very helpful.

I passed!
I passed my PCCN two years ago using this author's PCCN guide and practice test book.I now work in an ICU and only studied using this CCRN study guide and the CCRN practice test book by the same author. By the way, the CCRN book was quite similar to the PCCN book but it had an additional hemodynamic chapter, with some hemodynamic values sprinkled within various chapters. It is an easy and quick read. And basically I just read each chapter multiple times over a couple months. I really focused on understanding the concepts and piecing them together. I also am a writer learner so I added in my own notes and practiced on paper replicating the different charts in the book.Honestly, some people used a few different books and test books and audio, but for me minimal was better as to not overwhelm myself. And this book did the trick.

Great study resource
I was looking for a resource to use for CCRN and this has proved to be a great choice. It has been a good review of critical care topics while also covering topics that I am not familiar with.

Helpful
Passed the CCRN on the first try- used this book and also bought the practice test from AACN online. The book was good at condensing the important points and I studied it front to back. I gave it 4/5 stars just because I felt that the practice tests from AACN in addition to this book helped me feel confident to pass the first time.

I passed my CCRN using this study guide! Oct 2019
Great book! I recently passed my CCRN (Oct. 1, 2019) using this book along with the questions by same author and AACN.org CCRN PowerPoint presentations. This book is a very to the point book. Does not really give you definitions of diseases (which did come up on my exam) so you'd need to look those up yourself. Easy to take everywhere. Fits in your purse or small backpack. Wasn't to fond that it didn't have an appendix so I bought little post-it tags to tag different areas of book that I wanted to refer back to fast. I was a bit nervous about testing after only using these references because book is 2016 and webinar is 2015 but none the less I passed only using these three things. Good luck on your studies and I definitely recommend book! "You can do it!" You'll see that a lot in book. It's a very motivating book 😊

This book will help you pass the CCRN
I recently took the CCRN on 4/20/19 and this book really helped me to passed. I also used the practice question only by Nicole K, Barrons and Pass CCRN. Of all the study material this book and the question book reflected the exam. I was surprise to see similar questions on the exam from the book. Studied for around 8 weeks on and off. The last 3 days I really studied intensely. Passed my CCRN. I’m so happy. Thank You Nicole K. You’re the best.

Passed CCRN!
This book is a great study guide! I passed the CCRN test the 1st time thanks to this book and the book with practice questions associated with this book. I studied for about 3 weeks and read this book cover to cover. I wrote notes and did the Laura Gisparis dvd series. Thank you, Nicole! CCRN certified now!

Concise, easy read
Easily digestible information, great review to remind yourself of important stuff few days prior to taking the test. It also reminds you that you can do it after every section, which is encouraging
