Right product for my circumstance.
I was looking for a gasket material for a 17 pound rock tumbler. The supplied rubber gasket wore out very quickly. I cut this into gaskets and it works much better than the original.

Not great for my application
The rubber is good and uniform. For some applications Iโm sure itโs perfect. But for indoor use, this stuff smells VERY strong and not very pleasant. Itโs a combination of rubber and what smells like cigar smoke. Also the surface is smooth but doesnโt show that well. I wanted to use this as a mat for indoor cold plunges. I ended up cutting the rubber back so it fits only under the plunge with no rubber exposed. The smell was too strong and the rubber we didnโt sit flat enough to be of any benefit of preventing water to seep underneath it.

This Neoprene Rubber works extremely well at reducing vibration from my washer!
I ordered this neoprene rubber sheet to put under my washing machine, and it made a noticeable difference right away! My washer used to shake and vibrate during spin cycles, and sometimes "walk" during heavy loads. Thankfully, this rubber is helping by absorbing a lot of that movement and noise, and it feels much more stable now. ~Durability~ The rubber is thick, dense, and feels like it will hold up well over time without breaking down or flattening out. ~Adhesion~ Even without adhesive backing, it stays in place really well under the weight of the washer and doesnโt slide around. ~Versatility~ This can be used for so many things beyond appliancesโpadding, lining shelves, DIY projects, or even as a protective mat. ~Odor~ It definately has a strong, offputing "rubber" smell when you first open it, but thats to be expected of coarse, and thankfully it fades away after it airs out for a while. ~Value for money~ For the generous 3'x3' size and high quality, I think itโs a solid value, especially considering how effective it is. ~Ease of use~ Its super easy to cut it to size-I cut mine effortlessly with a sharp exact-o-knife. After I unrolled it, I flipped it over and put a few heavy items on top of it for a 24 hour period, and now it lays flat nicely as well. No complicated setup at all. ~Overall~ I am extremely happy with this high quality neoprene rubber! Its a really simple and effective solution for reducing my washer vibration and I'm definitely happy with it! I love that its so versatile, you can use it in for a wide variety of projects around your home-with endless possibilities!

Versatile and good quality rubber
I got this to put on the outfeed edge of my table saw in the workshop. I've been doing longer cuts and multiple cuts which cause some of the pieces to fall of the edge of the outfeed side of my table saw and causing them to get small dents. So want to protect my projects without slowing down. And this large 3 x 3 foot mat has worked perfectly. It holds to the floor fast and has stopped the dents in the falling wood on the concrete floor. I like it enough to get a second larger one for the in-feed side for me to stand on. Long hours pushing wood through can be hard on your feet. As others have noted there is considerable off-gassing when you open the roll. It smells like rubber and that's pretty expected. You might want to open it up outside first.

Performs perfectly for my needs. The potential uses for my property are nearly unlimited.
I obtained this for two specific reasons and it has performed admirably in both cases. Photos are included but snow has made it less clear to see the first use. First thing I did was cut a strip for under the gate of my pvc fence. My dogs are in no rush to get out but they like to watch what goes on, and that space at the bottom of the gate got larger and larger until both dogs could put their heads completely under and scare the neighbors by barking insanely when a dog was being walked past. (They get bored). The second reason was also for the dogs. It has been a cold and windy winter and I have two dog doors, one in the storm door and one in the main door. The wind would just blow them up and freezing temperatures would blow into my house every cold day in winter. It was either deal with the wind, or seal the door during the winter, or find this third option I had never considered previously. I cut this rubber mat to size and put between the two doors. It is thick enough and heavy enough to prevent any air from lifting the flaps and I don't have to look at it. I didn't spend enough time flattening it out, or making the attachment more appealing, but I will do that in the spring. (Even though is it currently slightly curled and the sticky side is facing out, the other two door flaps pick up the edge covering for now and the flaps stay in place.) That flap probably will save me $100 in heating costs just this winter. It arrives in a tightly rolled package and it certainly smells like treated rubber at the outset. Once unrolled and cut to size, the odor dissipates over a short period of time. It will absolutely air itself out. For someone who intends to use it as a mat, the three foot x three foot size is functional for a small workout area where you don't want to damage flooring. It appears quite durable and I expect it will likely last far longer than I will. One side is lightly sticky and should hold to the floor if used as a mat. It appears that this will do everything that it is intended to do and advertised to do. It's 1/8" thickness is more than adequate for most uses, but it is still only 1/8". I am actually quite interested in all of the options that the listing on Amazon suggests. I wouldn't have thought of most of them but I could use something for many of those suggestions. For the record, I made my cuts with a box cutter and aluminum straight edge.

Not meant to save weight plates or the concrete/flooring below, but can be of good value
Thought I'd try this to.place as my home garage gym mats. First if all, the rubber smell is super strong but it's been about a week since I had them and slowly going away. Not as thick as I need it to be but I knew that as I purchased them. I'll probably buy a few more to complete and then will follow up with some pics and use/quality with actual weights on them being used.

Thick and not at local diy store
Nice thick. Using it for gasket between doorbell button and stucco wall. Also used as padding on utility trailer. You wonโt find this at the home improvement store. It does smell like rubber, because it is.
