Good tent and easy to use

Now this a brilliant tent. I purchased the 3 man version & it served me well up to now. I love how quickly it goes up & folds down. Well recommend. 5 stars for this. Anthony

I use the reactive outdoor tent as storage when i am away in the camper van. I wanted a tent that was sturdy, lightweight and easy to set up. The 3 second tent from reactive outdoor is just that.

What use is a tent with a faulty door zipper? I loved this tent for weight, ease of put up and take down. It felt sturdy when inside, even when windy. So my low star rating is due to the faulty zipper on one of the doors, it cross threads itself, and caused me some flustered panic one night of my trip, as it just got stuck open after a call of nature, and as a lone female unnerved me some what and took me over an hour of panic and sore fingers trying to align the zipper teeth to close it again. So my two aspect tent became one for the rest of my trip. So back to my original question, what use is a tent with a broken zipper? None!. I have no idea how to contact the manufacturer for a replacement or refund either. So only buy this tent if you are happy to gamble the whole cost of it on single trip usage.

Tent leaks bad not worth the money nothing but issues

I bought one of these direct from company for £90 and THEY ARE NOT 100% WATERPROOF ! As they claim! DEFINITELY NOT WORTH £150

At best this is probably a fishing shelter for good weather. I have a "few" tents and tarps so I bought out of curiosity as the pop up umbrella type mechanism is interesting..but fundamentally flawed. This tent will break at the hinge joints in a modest breeze. The dome design is guaranteed to leak as the "knotted hanky" fly on top allows water to pool under it and run-off drips onto the sides/inner. The groundsheet is thin. My tent came with a heavy duty "footprint" (tarp) to go under, presumably to try to avoid returns. As a sunshade on a calm beach or a kids play tent it may have a use... forget trying to return this if you bought from the company - but Amazon may be obliged to take it back as this is not fit for purpose as a tent. (But then Amazon charge 22% more) ...to rescue your purchase you could add a secondary pole system as this adds much more stability. Add a larger knotted hanky or a proper full fly outer. Cut a hole in the inner roof (and mesh it) then add some decent guys. The finishing on the stitching is OK and the zips work once lubricated. It will pop up but then you have to add the extras unless you have dry, dead calm conditions. As for 3 sec pitch....only if you pitch it into the trash can.

I purchased the Small-Sized + Large-Sized (Family Package, UK) in April 2023 direct from their website during a special offer, intending to use the large tent myself and gift the smaller one to a friend for her 50th birthday camping trip this year. Unfortunately, both tents failed on their first use. The large tent leaked so severely on the first night that I had to abandon it, forcing me, along with my two dogs, to take refuge in my friend’s van. My bedding and clothing were soaked through. The smaller tent also leaked, leaving my friend’s bedding wet, but we managed to dry the tent out for her to use the next night but we had to pull her under an awning to avoid any further leaking. I reached out to Reactive Outdoor, explaining the situation, and initially received an email stating that they would get back to me. However, after I had to follow up as I received no response, I was told that since the order was no longer covered by their return policy, they could neither offer a refund nor a replacement. While I understand their return policy timeframe, the product's advertised waterproof capabilities were clearly not met, and both tents failed during their very first use, causing significant inconvenience and damage to our camping gear. Given that these tents were specifically purchased for this event and remained unused until then, I believe this situation warrants a full refund for this alone and I didn't even mention the issue with the zippers sticking! Unfortunately, the company's refusal to acknowledge this has left me extremely dissatisfied. I would not recommend either the product or Reactive Outdoor based on my experience. I intended to share my review on social media but they don't seem to have the option to leave reviews, how convenient.

Great little tent for 3, blitz to setup quick takedowns. Well made, 5 trips nothing broken including zippers, sturdy for its type, no leak through flooring, well thought out and designed! Its not a “high stakes” hiking tent for conquering 14ers in my opinion, but superb for moderate adventures and really cuts down setup time to a less than minute apart from staking or rain cover. Makes it ideal to keep in vehicle with you when maybe a camp opportunity comes up or may be needed and you don’t plan on carrying long distance. Highly recommended for what it is made for. I think this might be a great opportunity for shelter!

So easy to set up and take down. Quality materials and well worth the money.

Ich war mit den Zekten 3 Wochen in Norwegen unterwegs. Der Auf- und Abbau ist sehr einfach und schnell. Es gibt genügend Platz im Zelt. Eine Sache istein wenig störend, das Zelt ist nicht ganz wasserdicht. Bei Kontakt mit der Aussenwand wird es innen Feucht, aber man schwimmt nicht im Zelt auch bei starkem Regen.

My friend has the Rective Outdoors 3-second tent. He used it on our last camping activity. I didn’t believe this tent had the efficiency, stability and fast set up until I saw it! I had to get me one! Can’t wait to use it! No more pole threading and labor intensive work to get the tent up and ready for use! Great product!
