Vinaco Dimmable PAR30 Long Neck Halogen Bulb 60W 120V 2800K Warm White

These are hard to find at your local Lowes - in fact, you can't. These bulbs are designed for bathrooms, specifically over showers and tubs, as they are designed for high humidity areas. Went to three hardware stores, including one in our community known to stock what others miss - no luck. Highly recommend.

The companies that make the long neck halogen bulbs with a nice warm/golden color temperature seem to keep going out of business. Bulbs burn out at my house, and when I need to replace them, I come back to Amazon and seem to go through yet another round of ordering many different brands of bulbs, trying to find something that will be -halogen -long neck -PAR30 shape -with an E26/medium base -dimmable -with a reasonable diffuser so you don't burn your eyes if you happen to glance up at the bulb -glows with a nice, comforting *golden* (not harsh white) color (e.g. 2700K) I tested only one of these Vinaco bulbs from the 6-pack, but it worked well. (I can't report on longevity at this point.) So far, these Vinaco 60 watt 120 volt (75 watt equivalent) bulbs seem to fit the bill--everything I look for in a halogen bulb for our ceiling canisters. Aaaahhhhh....

These lightbulbs are terrible. We changed 3 out yesterday and only 1 of them is working this morning. The last one we used worked for only a couple days as well. Extremely frustrating and a waste of money. Will never buy again

I have used this PAR 30 long neck halogen bulb in my kitchen and hallways for years. LED's just do not give me enough light, and I don't like having to wait for the light to brighten up. Halogens are on right away, bright, and I love them. We have 18 ceiling lights, and this is the only bulb I use. As everything else, the prices on these flood lights have gone up quite a bit since covid and are harder to find...but still the only bulb for me.

One bulb in the pack was broken - found out too late to return

We had a hard time finding halogen light bulb replacements for a while, and were told we would have to change every can light in our home to led’s. I finally found these and they work perfectly. They arrived intact, we did test each bulb to make certain it worked…did a “burn-in” time to verify. We have been using them for almost 2 months and so far all is going great. Glad we didn’t have to replace all the halogen cans for led’s…at least not yet!

Don’t last long.

I needed to replace a few flood lights in my kitchen. They are halogen lights and wamted to keep them instead of the LED which makes my entire kitchen look blue ! I kept searching for my original lights amd came across these. Perfect fit and am so happy! I placed.my order in the evening and my order was delivered by 8 a.m. the following day. I highly recommend these lights for anyone who needs to replace their ceiling lights and not to mention how quickly they arrived! Certainly would purchase again!!
