AC Infinity AIRPLATE S7, Quiet Cooling Fan System 30cm with Speed Control, for Home Theater AV Cabinet Cooling, 12-Inch

I purchased two Airplate S7 units to fit into a cupboard that I was using to house my two NAS units. The cupboard was getting very warm prior to installing the S7s but now it is always nice and cool. Very easy to fit and extremely quiet. This small cupboard is my lounge and the noise from the fans is practically non-existent (I have them running at the highest speed).

Awesome solution for cooling my media cabinet. Its ready to plug and play, no other extra nonsense, and it looks really slick. I use these along with AC Infinity AIRPLATE T3, Quiet Cooling Fan System with Thermostat Control. I t is cooling my PS4 pro and HK AVR16S receiver along with all the cables and it works perfectly.

Bought to use in my media tower it's got an x box one, amplifier, PS4 and sky q box in it. The noise from the fan kicking in on my PS4 was driving me crazy so I bought 2 of these and installed them now it's deadly silent and the digital display lets me know the current temp etc. even the way it was packaged was perfect and they come with everything you need to install them.

This is great for getting cool air in or the hot air out. I took it apart and flipped the fans around so that it would pull the hot air out of the cabinet that my PS4 Pro is in. The Pro is now whisper quite and cool. Where the thermometer used to show 50+ Celsius previously it now shows 23 Celsius. amazing product it is. next stop will be purchasing the AC INFINITY Fan Thermal Controller.

I don't normally write reviews on Amazon, but after receiving this item I felt compelled to do so. I've been searching for a convenient, well finished product to solve an air circulation problem on my home compute and networking stack. Absolutely does the job, whisper quiet and I will be purchasing more items from the range.

Superb, I converted an old airing cupboard into a home cinema "rack" and found the equipent often overheating. I bought 2 airplates to take air in the bottom and expel out the top. I coupled this unit with the larger 3 fan unit that comes with a handy led backlit display that auto adjusts to the cupboards temp meaning as soon as it hits 30c the fans kick in and rapidly reduce to below 29c (all temps you can configure). Couldn't speak more highly of this piece of kit.

Used in my guitar amp to keep it cool very quiet fans and a great speed control for different speeds ,easy to swop the fans direction if needed overall perfect for what I needed

Comes with only a US plug. What’s more its output is 6V @ 2A - so 12W. It’s not clear if using a 5V 2A will provide less power. I assume not but still. If you claim to send a three pin U.K. plug, then send it. Also. It’s not quiet. I was expecting Noctua levels of quiet. Sadly it’s nowhere close. It does look really nice though - so there’s that. All in all, not what was advertised- but not terrible.

All you have to do is open the package to know it's a high quality product. You know how you get stuff on Amazon and it's basically loose in a box with no instructions, well this is the opposite! The box is worth saving. Haven't installed the Fan yet as my project to wall mount it to circulate air from a gas fireplace isn't ready yet. Tested it and it works very well, and very quite. Removed the faceplate because I need to paint it. It's actually a shame because it has a brushed aluminum black anodized finish which is perfect. Faceplate grills are rubber mounted to reduce noise, just another example of quality.

Me gusto como se puede ve el mueble donde quedo instalado, pero necesita mucho espacio entre la pared y el ventilador para poder generar una corriente que permita la ventilación adecuada.

Attention Tent Owners This is my third AC infinity product. I have previous purchased two ac infinity intake/outtake exhaust fans which btw are great and still in use one year later. My purchase: Ac infinity dual fan wallplate/airplate with the switch non-controller version. My application: pull cool air from the room into a 3x3 to keep the plants inside at optimal temps. Normally temps inside are acceptable at 80-82 degrees, but in flower I want to get several degrees lower to simulate fall/harvest. Why I needed it? I use an LED that at its highest settings putting off quite a bit of heat into a small space and although a great LED, too big for the space (bigger isn’t always better) so I was having difficulty dialing in temps even in my mostly automated small space. Full disclosure - I’ve purchased more than my fair share of fans over the years from amazon and other big box retailers. Some I still use, some shelved, others recycled or returned. Rather than setup a proper intake using another ac infinity intake I went ahead and tried fan after fan propped against the side of the tent with the flap open to force cool air in. Btw the inexpensive Amazon basic floor fan pushes a lot of air, but I digress. And This method works, but adds additional noise and light leakage both in and out of the tent (night/day). As you know, this is a problem and will result in confused plants or worse, herms. That said, I’m still lazy, seeking the easiest cheapest way and I’ve been so pleased with my other ac infinity products (I decided on this unit after measuring my tents side mesh window which was close enough) it was an easy decision to take a flyer on this dual fan airplate. This fits my 3x3 bottom mesh vent exceptionally well. I didn’t even have to use the included screws or zip ties that’s how snug it is. Perfect even. I simply used a boxcutter to cut out the mess in my tent and forcefully pushed the plate into place. This admittedly took some extra elbow grease, but once i got it in, I’d say its the middle cup of porridge, just right. This airplate on its highest setting I am able to keep my homes air set to 70-73 and allow for cool fresh air to enter the airplate/tent and force the hot air generated from my LED out of the top. My ac infinity outtake fan is pulling that hot air set on low with a controller (setting 2) through an oversized filter from another company to filter any smell (none) back into this spare bedroom. Added some pics. I opted to go with the non-controller version of the dual fan airplate as I have two other intake/outtake fans (ac infinity) with the controllers and thought it would be overkill. The airplate has a small switch on it with 4 settings. Off, low, medium & high. On high, it’s quiet and mostly unnoticeable and pushes enough air into tent to keep the perfect temps! Surprised me for an airplate that it was able to push as much air in as it does. Pros -perfect size for my application -quiet even on its highest setting -always on feature (using a smart app controlled outlet to turn off and on) -moves more air than expected -great engineering as usual Cons Not sure it’s a con, but it would have been better in white rather than black and without the controller I don’t know if it was possible to push even more air in on possibly higher settings. Lo uso para refrigerar un modesto Home Lab en casa encerrado en un típico mueble de persiana de ikea. Lo instalé en un lateral del mueble sobre un orificio a medida. También hice otro agujero en el mueble es la superficie superior hacia atrás para montar una rejilla de salida de aire. Aún a bajas revoluciones este ventilador es capaz de bajar aprox. 5ºC el interior y casi sin ruido. A mayor ventilación bajaría más la temperatura a cambio de oirse más.
