EGO LBPX8000 190 mph 800 CFM 56 V Battery Backpack Blower Tool Only

I’m so glad I bit the bullet and bought this. I sold my very powerful Husqvarna back pack blower in order to justify buying this Ego blower. So much nicer to use. Controls are excellent. Still heavy, because of the batteries, but a very comfortable harness, including a waist strap. Not quite as powerful as my Husqvarna but the air flow concentrator at the end of the tube does a great job. Good bye oil and gas mixing and engine maintenance. Well worth $400 in the battle of the leaves!

Weight wise, no different than a gas blower which is nice. I really like the strapping system on this as well as it keeps the blower from shifting around. The swivel flex tube could be about 3" longer for a wider swing but can live with it. The twin battery makes all of the difference with this larger motor too. This backpack if you have 2 batteries can blow a large yard easily with battery to spare. I tested this in 51 degrees using a brand new battery and one 5 years old and cleared my very large yard with battery life to spare. Its nice that it is quiet too! Have to get used to that! The blow tube is also flexible in length so you can adjust it. Other than lengthening the flex tube for a wider swiping action, A+ on this backpack unit. Highly recommend. easy to assemble the arm and use, made well, works excellent and no gas and no power cord.

Love the power and long life (as long as you don't hit the booster to much). A bit heavy but the backpack is comfortable. Downside is you can only use the handle on one side, but all backpack types are the same. All in all a great tool.

Stop: I would not ever purchase from this company again. Please don't make mistake that I made. I ordered this ego blower they have it listed but never mentioned that this is a weaker discontinued model. The new stronger model is listed on Cutlers website but they try to get these unloaded on Amazon to people that are unaware. When you go to return eventhough a prime member they want you to pay $200 return postage and also a 10-20% Restock fee. I called them directly 3 times not even return call and finally associated answered " nothing we can do" not even sorry or anything. I told her that I will never buy from this company again in a respectable manner- she says"ok have a good one and hangs up". This blower works really well and it moved all of our Pineneedles above on our hill in the matter of about 30 minutes and we filled up a four wheeler trailer, I would recommend this for sure!

Heavy duty

I like that it has plenty of power. You need to purchase the biggest batteries you can get if you have a large yard.

This Eco blower has the power to blow a ton of leaves or dry a car you’ve just washed but it’s so heavy (with 2 batteries) that I just can’t hold it on my back very long. My husband even had trouble with carrying it after blowing leaves. And in “turbo” mode it only last about 10 minutes. If you want a blower go with the hand held eco which we love. Unless your pure muscle, avoid this one.
