The battery lasts a long time and the app is fairly easy to use. The pedals themselves are good and are comparable to most of the usuals. But for the money, these things are absolutely a great value. All sights gave it favorable review compared to the Vector 3. Since I already have a stages crankarm PM on one of my bikes, I've decided to get the Favero for my SRAM red crankset. SRAM Red 22 is very hard to get PM on it. Yeah you can go Quarq, but that's expensive. All I care about is watts and w/kg so the uno was a perfect solution for me. Installing the pedals were straight forward. Setting up takes one extra step compared to the stages setup. So to get it going, you will need to 1. install pedals. 2. Charge the pedals for about 30min 3. install favero app and open it. 4. rotate crank couple time and on the app hit search. You will see the pedals. Click on Activate. Fill in simple info for the pedals (This is for the 2 year warranty). 5. Add favero to your head unit (mine was edge 520). 6. do zero offset. 7. get on trainer or ride on a flat service and pedal for about 30sec (at least for me) and calibration will be complete and you'll start seeing power reading. Now for the pedal tension. It's bonkers stiff on default settings. I like stiff tension pedals, but this will turn off a lot of riders who are not use to it. I would recommend counter clockwise on tension. Even at it's lowest setting, I would say its around 12nm. I'm sure time will loosen the tension, but just be aware if you don't loosen the tension, you might have a mishap when unclipping on the road. I've been using look pedals since I've 1st gotten into road biking, so look keo and grip keo works. However, grip keo is a little harder to clip in. the PM performs flawlessly and had 0 issues so far. Stages Gen3 and Favero readings are almost identical. Cadence is about the same. Compared to my Zwift power metrics (Wahoo Kickr 2018) it seems very accurate. I upgraded from an old Velocomp unit which was inconsistent and data was not real time. It also was hard to calibrate and needed calibration often. The Assioma pedals is self calibrating other than the zero offset when you change bikes. I can do it quickly from my Wahoo Bolt v2-see photos. It takes me about two minutes to switch the pedals from bike to bike, set the crank length and perform a calibration (zero offset) with the pedals in vertical position. (Just have some good bike grease.) If the Duo had been in my price bracket, I would have gotten those, but the Uno really gives all the data I need. I’m not a pro cyclist.
