Excellent sub.
A down-facing sub, really decent sound for the price. Be careful to switch off at the sub before switching off the amp otherwise you get a disconcerting "pop". Harmless to the sub but it can take you unawares.

The Klipsch R-8SW 8 inch active sub does what it says on the tin and priced very well for under £200. It will compliment your speakers however minimal or more so. It takes some adjusting and fiddling with at first. Once you figure out its compatibility at different levels, you’ll be glad you invested the time. It makes a big difference from the initial listening experience. It sits well tucked away and delivers when it needs to. Don’t expect revelations, especially at this price point, but it will enhance your system.

Been using the R-8SW for a few days now, and the addition of a sub-woofer really enhances the overall sound. I added this to the R-15PM desktop speakers.NOTE: this item ships with a US plug (I live in the UK), and no sub-woofer cable, hence I had to buy these to use the product.
