## Description

Litorange Lead Free 2 PCS Brass Angle Stop Add-A-Tee Valve 3/8" Female by 3/8" by 1/4 Inch Male T Extender Water Compression Easy Connect Tee : desertcart.in: Home Improvement

Review: Plumbing is confusing. I almost didn't buy this part because the 3/8 was also listed as compression, which I knew I needed for the fridge water line, but not for the "standard 3/8 plumbing connector" as described by my new Appaso faucet. IF your plumbing is modern-ish, then this is the part you need to split a water line for fridge water or whatever off of your sink or whatever. This would also probably work for Toilet + Shine. A note about compression. this will work with a compression fitting on either male end, but does not come with any of the compression parts, the female end will fit a male 3/8 compression, but is not itself a compression fitting, and if you have the compression fitting on the male end you're trying to plug this onto, it may not work. I saw other reviews that talked about it being difficult to put on, or that it leaked. Any of these brass (or really any metal) parts can't be connected together without using plumber's thread sealing tape. It WILL Leak if you don't, especially if any of the other connectors are metal - regardless of any internal O ring or gasket. Trust me, always use plumber's tape. If it's difficult to put on, it is likely the wrong part. There's like 4 standards in plumbing, and like house plumbing is USUALLY measured by interior diameter (ID), smaller connections like these, that do-it-yourselfers usually encounter are measured by outside diameter (OD) - this part is OD on all three. and then you have to worry about threading. if this only screws on for a twist or two and then you have to he-man it on, it's the wrong part, and the threading is probably wrong. Finally, a caliper may not help you. If you're using a 1/4 fridge water hose and 3/8 to your faucet, this will almost certainly work. If you use a caliper, measure the tube, not the fitting. If they are 3/8 and 1/4 on the outside, this will likely work. It's honestly better to bring parts with you to the store, but we're in a pandemic, so here we are.
Review: For some reason, the water line to my fridge ran off the hot water side under the kitchen sink. I used one to tee off the cold water faucet in the bathroom behind the refrigerator. I added this and a short line through the wall, and all is good. It is well made with a rubber gasket in the swivel nut. No leaks.

Bought these 3/8 compression to 1/4" to install a large water filter and make the transition to 1/4 Ice machine and single serve water faucet lines.... "THEY JUST LEAK" First off compression fittings should not be that hard to seal. I've even used Teflon tape and tightened the HELL out of them to the point of fearful of twisting off. STILL leak!!! [a small drip,.. but can't have that anywhere, especially under a sink!] Probably will be returning...
