Limbo Waterproof Cast and Dressing Protector, PICC Line Cover M75, 30 to 39 cm Upper Arm Circumference

Absolutely perfect for what I need. Totally waterproof and protective while I'm in the shower. My PICC line stays 100% dry, which is so important. I whole heartedly recommend this product.

I stumbled and took a large piece of skin off my arm, just below my elbow. As I'm on blood thinners it was difficult to stop it bleeding. With a large dressing it was difficult to stem the flow of blood. It eventually stopped bleeding but it was almost impossible to have a shower. The Limbo was the answer so I'm now able to shower but keep dressings dry and the wound is now healing well. A great product.

My arm are top of the size range at 39cm but still a perfect fit, easy to use and kept my dressing dry in the shower. I have a PICC Line fitted and I have had no problems.

I bought this to cover my dressing on my broken arm (distal humerus shaft) while I shower. It’s quite difficult to get on and over my surgical wound. It takes a while as I have to be careful not to disturb my stitches; the entry seal on this is obviously quite tight and not very stretchy. However, once it’s securely in place I’m able to have a worry free shower. My arm sweats a little inside the protector but nothing excessive.

I was recommended this at a PICC pre-assessment appointment (where I was also measured up to see which size would fit best) so ordered it in advance of my PICC line installation which was a week later. Use is easy. Slide it up your forearm, biggest hole first (the holes are two different sizes), concertina it together somewhat, then carefully slide the biggest hole up over your PICC line (use your fingers to ensure it doesn't snag) and up past it. Now move the lower one further up if necessary so you can comfortably cover the PICC and all of its associated dressing. Have your shower, then carefully slide the LimbO back down and off, again using your fingers to ensure it doesn't snag. Don't leave it on too long! Remember at the pre-assessment you will have been shown how easily veins get squashed by the lightest pressure, and you don't want to leave your PICC in a squashed vein for too long or you'll cause turbulence and risk clotting.

Bought this so that I could shower safely - and it has delivered. It's comfortably snug on my upper arm and is excellent at preventing water getting in. It's easy to get on and off and very comfortable for showering (I haven't tried a bath yet It dries quickly when left upright on a radiator (albeit I rest it on a towel) If this wears out (I have a line in for 6 months) - I wil definitely buy another

I have a PICC line and bought the sleeve to keep it and the dressing dry in the shower. I wasn't sure what size to order. I sent the measurements of my arm to the Limbo team. They replied promptly with a recommended size, and they were right. The sleeve works well. There are neoprene cuffs at either end of the sleeve which seal around the arm. The neoprene cuffs do get damp when they come into contact with water, but the dressing and PICC line stay dry. I wouldn't recommend submerging the sleeve under water though. It can be difficult showering with a PICC line when there is a pump attached to it. I found that I was able to tuck the pump with the line into the Limbo sleeve. If this is done carefully, the neoprene cuffs are not stretched and seal around the arm. I am not sure if everyone is able to do this however: it depends on the size of your arm and the available space between the arm and the sleeve. I would like to recommend the LimbO Waterproof Protectors Store. They replied promptly with a size recommendation when I sent them the measurements of my arm. They then followed up on the order to check if I received the sleeve. As it happened, I hadn't received it, but this was because post in my area was delayed due to Covid and staff shortages. When the Limbo Team learned this, they offered to send a replacement sleeve with a return envelop in case the original sleeve arrived. In the event, this was not necessary because the sleeve did arrive. However, I appreciated the pro-active approach by the Limbo team.

Poor quality for the price. Used it over a PICC line and it leaked tremendously. Return was streamline.

I purchased this item as I have a PICC line above my elbow and will have it for over 6 weeks. Looked at over 10 dofferent items and finally purchased this one and so glad I did. It fits comfortably, is easy to put on by myself and stays on nicely. When showering, not one drop of water entered and my PICC staued nice and dry. I was so thrilled to fins a product that is reliable and one well made. I can definitely rely on this to last me the entire 6 weeks to shower and keep my PICC area dry. Great product and would suggest it to anyone.

Funciona perfectamente. No entra nada de agua al ducharte . Yo lo uso porque llevo un PICC en el brazo y no se puede mojar.
