For context, we have, just the one cat and he's an old boy, who has access to the outside but as he's a little stiff in the morning and really doesn't want to go out in the cold, he has the litter tray for back up. He uses it every morning and lunchtime for a wee but heads outside if he wants a poo, so I cannot tell you how the litter holds up for fecal matter. I can tell you that it clumps beautifully, making it so easy to clean after he's used it. The lavender scent seems to keep any smells at bay and he's not fazed by it. The only downsides I can find is it does stick to his paws so can be a little bit messy as he exits the tray and it is more expensive than your usual stuff.
