Clarify Sulfate Free Shampoo with Antioxidants, Clarifying Shampoo for Hard Water Exposure and Styling Build-up, EverPure, 6.8 Fl Oz

I've tried plenty of clarifying shampoos over the years, and L'Oréal Paris EverPure Sulfate-Free Clarifying Shampoo with Antioxidants strikes a nice balance between deep cleansing and keeping hair healthy. Unlike many clarifying shampoos that leave hair feeling stripped or squeaky, this one removes product buildup, excess oil, and even the dulling effects of hard water while still leaving my hair soft and manageable. The sulfate-free formula is especially great for color-treated hair since it cleans without noticeably fading color. Its formula includes antioxidants, vitamin C, and glycine to help restore shine and maintain hydration rather than leaving hair dry. The scent is fresh and clean without being overpowering, and although it doesn't create the rich lather that traditional sulfate shampoos do, it still leaves my scalp feeling refreshed. I noticed my hair had more volume, felt lighter, and stayed cleaner longer after using it. It also pairs well with a moisturizing conditioner if your hair tends to be on the dry side. My only minor criticism is that if you're expecting an ultra-intense clarifying shampoo, this formula is gentler than some salon brands. For most people, though, that's actually a benefit because it can be used more regularly without making hair feel brittle. Overall, it's an excellent drugstore option that performs well above its price point, especially for anyone dealing with product buildup, hard water, or color-treated hair.

I live in Iowa currently and have noticed a terrible difference in water quality. I typically use olaplex and I just wasn’t getting the same results. I added this shampoo and conditioner to my routine between washes with my other regular products. It has been going great, I’m finally noticing the results I used to get. It has a clean sent, the conditioner can smell slightly chemically in my opinion but that scent doesn’t stick. Overall does the trick!

Does what it says, it defiently clarifies your scalp. My hair feels slightly dry but defiently cleaner and a really good wash. i combat dryness with ultra moisturizing conditioner, applying to whole head. smells really good and ive been using to strip color before hair dye, so far so well. not expectingit to lift my hair, but myhair gets progressively more blonde undertones from this black box dye and i see it getting lighter.

I like the shampoo and have been using it for a while. It smells pretty good. It doesn't bubble up a whole lot like you'd expect it to, so you have to wash twice, or use a lot of shampoo if you don't have time for a double wash. I have long hair so a ton of this shampoo is needed. I usually wash my hair every 2-3 days, so it goes quick... but I like the clarifying and clean feel after.

This stuff is amazing!!! I bought it with hopes it would remove orange staining from hard water on my blonde hair extensions and it freaking worked after one wash! I’d say it removed 90% of the orange/pink. For the price point I cannot believe how well this worked. I’m definitely going to try other products in this line of hair care.

This is the first clarifying shampoo that left my hair very clean while without drying it out. The scent is pleasant. It's a great addition to my hair care regimen.

works so good for build up and hard water! my hair is pretty thick and soaks up everything it touches, haven’t found a good shampoo in about a year. better than expensive clarifying shampoos. my hair was looking so greasy and heavy even right after washing, but this started clearing it immediately! if you have thick and heavy hair, this doesn’t dry it out. hair feels lighter, healthy, and better volume highlyyyyy recommend!

This clarifying shampoo works great. I have hard water that leaves my hair dull and gross feeling. After using this shampoo and conditioner one time, the buildup was gone and my hair was soft and shiny again. I also love the scent, it’s not too strong, just a nice clean smell. I will definitely buy this product again. Works great!

If you hate waste hard water does to your hair, this is the shampoo and conditioner to that will fix that. My water is so hard that even wet, my hair felt like straw. I wake up in the morning looking like Medusa. I could feel the difference in my hair as I was shampooing it. I could finally run my fingers through it even before conditioning it. Once conditioned, and dried my hair is so light and soft. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who has hard water. It smells wonderful, and it is reasonably priced.

To preface, I have fine, wavy/curly (2C/3A) hair. It's bleached and I occasionally use heat on it so it has damage. I use a lot of silicone products like the EverPure Glossing line, the EverPure Strengthening line, and a few leave-in products from Garnier's Sleep & Skine line. I wash my hair every 3 days or so, and I use this about every 3 weeks. I've ONLY used the shampoo from this line as a clarifying conditioner just doesn't seem to make sense to me. I'm not a chemist so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I'd personally prefer using another moisturizing conditioner after this instead of the clarifying conditioner. If you're looking for a super deep cleansing shampoo, this likely isn't the product for you. But for those who want a clarifying shampoo on the gentler side, this is a great option. It cleanses a lot more than regular shampoo, but it wont dry out your hair like more intense clarifying shampoos (like Neutrogena anti-residue) will. The only real con I've found with this is that it doesn't smell as nice as the other EverPure lines do. It's not a bad smell by any means. It has a nice citrusy scent. It's just not as nice as the others. But if you follow up with a nice smelling conditioner, it's really not an issue. TLDR: - Gentler than most clarifying shampoos (way less drying) - Does clarify well, but not as much as more intense ones - Smells nice, but not as nice as the other EverPure products - The "clarifying conditioner" sounds useless
