Wrova Wheat Straw Dinner Plates 10 Inch, Plastic Plates Reusable Set of 8

We have been using these Wheat Straw based plates for some time now with our daily meals, and they have been holding up great. At 9-inches in size, they are more than adequate for normal sized portions and we've had them in constant rotation between breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are durable, having already survived a few drops onto the floor. No cracks, no shattering. The plates are reasonably thick for dishware, but very lightweight. I've cut steak with a serrated-edged knife on these a few times, minimal scratching left on the plate surface. I can certainly see these lasting a few years! The plates microwave fine - though we are careful to not let food get TOO hot sitting in the plates. That's just common sense with any plastic-like food plate or bowl, so it isn't like we had to retrain ourselves to handle these with a microwave oven. We hand wash everything here, so I can't comment on how these will survive a few trips in a dishwasher - maybe some other customer has experience with these plates and a dishwasher and can provide feedback on that. I will say, tomato sauce shouldn't be left sitting around on any of the lighter-color plates for any long period of time. These WILL stain and like standard plastic, you'll be left with a sort of light orange discoloration if you don't get to washing them after your meal. That's why we bought a set of the DARKER color plates - for pasta dishes, the darker plates add a bit of visual "pop" to your presentation - but mostly it was because of fear of that dreaded red-sauce staining. One of our mobility-challenged family members who uses a walker and tray daily likes these plates a lot. They are easy to lift, carry on the tray, maneuver to eat with, resilient to falls or knocks, and the relief edging pattern makes them a bit easier to grip. Pretty much everything you'd expect from decent quality plastic dinner ware, just without the plastic. Texture on these isn't slippery. There is an almost fine-grain feel to them, which makes them even better to hold onto. Some plastics like those disposable plates or party cups have a very glossy, slippery surface feel to them. These do not. I like the overall look, feel and durability of these plates. Judging by how they've held up so far, I don't think it's a stretch to expect at least a few years of service out of these, which makes them a good deal to me and helps to reduce dependence on petroleum-based plastics.

These are awesome little plates! Great size for a small dinner, perfect for a sandwich and chips for lunch, with room to spare. They are VERY lightweight, go through the dishwasher (on the bottom rack) perfectly. They come out of the microwave cool to the touch. The price is amazing for 8 plates, they stack perfectly in the pantry. I have nothing negative to say about these plates. I'm so glad I finally tried wheat straw, so much better than melamine! We don't do breakable dishes, so these suit our family perfectly.

Bought these plates to use on the patio with Company. 1st dinner - spaghetti, a true test. Plates washed up beautifully in the dishwasher- no stains. I did rinse right after use then put in the dishwasher later. Very sturdy plates. 10" size is very doable. A tad bigger might have been better for us but overall high praise so far for these dishes.

Good dinner plates for a family. We bought these for our everyday dinner plates instead of using our wedding dishes. They have been used in microwave & dishwasher. You can barely see where our HS boys have cut their steaks and chicken. Very lightweight and a stylish markings on the back of plates to help with grip. Colors haven’t faded after multiple washes in Dishwasher.

These are really great! Even pretty, too. Can be used as formal sittings as well as casual sittings with the kids. I love the fact that they are dishwasher & microwaveable- perfect for camping or outdoor events as well...if you normally use paper plates these are an excellent sub and will save you $$. Very durable, too & long lasting. Will definitely buy more in the future! Plus they are packaged very nicely and could even be used for gift giving.

These plates are perfect for snacks, especially for little kids. The size is just right for fruits, crackers, or small desserts. They’re lightweight, easy to handle, and feel sturdy. I like that they’re unbreakable, so no worries about drops. They’re also microwaveable and dishwasher safe, which makes them very convenient for daily use. Great value overall.

Sturdy, doesn’t warp in the dishwasher. Lightweight and colors are nice.

These plates are great. Microwavable. Nice color. Kid safe if dropped, no need to worry about glass breaking. I have not put them in the dishwasher. Washes easy, except for red sauce, that has stained our plates.

Have been using these plates for a while now. Got them because my regular plates would not fit in my new counter top dishwasher. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nice plates.

Decided to keep plates, cant print label. Too expensive to ship. It would have been easier to ship thru Staples using a QR code.
