Save your money and buy a kindle instead
Mine NEVER Worked. Gave it as a gift to my son who subsequently got it put into timeout. When he finally received it, it was outside the warranty. I left it plugged in for WEEKS and it never acquired enough charge to turn on. Complete waste of money.

My first ereader and I love it so much. (where can I buy a case, pls!!)
This is my first experience with an ereader. I have not used any other brands or models, which makes it easier to love this one since I basically had no expections for it or experience with a device like this. I got this ereader about 2 months ago and I take it everywhere I go Pros: - it’s so small and cute. I literally bring it with me everywhere - It has android OS so you can get any reading app you want. I have the Kindle app and the Libby app (to loan local library books) and I can ready perfectly in both. I just set up all my books on my phone so they synch and are ready to go on my ereader. I have used the native reader app as well with text, PDFs files and it also works great. - It has buttons, and even though they are not physical buttons, I still love using them. Sadly, the buttons don’t seem to work when reading on the Kindle app, but they work great on the native reader and the Libby app - Decent battery life as long as you always keep the wifi and bluetooth off. You get about 10 hours of reading time, which is not too bad ( I know other ereaders have better battery life, but I have never used another one so I’m just used to this one). - The “Sleep” and “off” screensavers are cute images so the ereader always looks nice. Even though I would like to have my own screensavers, I like the default ones. Cons: - It has no backlight witch means you can’t read in the dark. Even though I mostly read when there’s other source of light with no issues, I REALLY wish it had a backlight so I could read in bed when all lights are off or in a dark airplane. I did get a booklight for it so we’ll see how that works - The screen quality is not that great but I really do not care since I’m mostly reading text-only books, and the text looks good enough. But forget about seeing the book covers or any other type of images. But this is not a dealbreaker for me. - It’s a bit slow, but I do not mind it at all because I only use the ereader for reading (not buying books or going on other apps) so it being slow does not affect my reading at all. - I would love to get a new case but it is imposible to find. I’d love if the seller can tell me where I can buy one!

Not for me but eh it's okay
The battery life is good, it's light, and not too difficult to use, but it is completely monochrome like the original Nintendo GameBoy, and you cannot brighten the screen, so it made it difficult for me to read for long periods. It is a little slow, but not terribly so. I hadn't tried to download a long novel, though, so I don't know how quickly and smoothly it loads. If you have great eyes and just absolutely need an e reader for something, then it's not bad for the money, but it is just not the right fit for me. (Note: it appears lighter in the picture than it is in real life.)

Decent Ereader for the price
I was wary reading the reviews, but for the price I gave it a shot. For a $40-$50 ereader you get what you pay for. Overall, I feel it's a great deal for the money. The elephant in the room probably is with battery life and text size. The battery life on this for me has lasted anywhere from 3-4 hours when it is either active or in sleep mode. It uses battery when it's in sleep mode. It has an almost indefinite time limit when it is powered off (unlike Kindles which continue to use power) from what I can tell. So, when you are reading expect that you'll only get a few hours reading time until you have to plug it in again. However, if you aren't needing to read it at the moment and turn it off, you don't have to worry about battery drain while it is off. Text size for me with ebooks from Project Gutenberg is good. I probably put the text at around size 16 (if we are going by MS word sizes) and it's fairly readable. If you are one to read very small print, you probably do not want to have this ereader as the dpi is far too low for that. However, for those of us who like larger text sizes, it's easily readable. I would not read any picture books or comic books on this. You won't be able to really see anything on this screen. The dpi is too low. It has no frontlights, and has no lighting at all. Putting ebooks onto this ereader is probably easier than any ereader I've ever seen. You simply plug it into your computer, see it on the computer and drag the books into the book folder. That's it. If you put it in the lowest book directory, the books (and if they are divided into folders, the folders as well) show up in the directory itself. This device, as a cheap ereader that you don't have to worry about getting destroyed or wrecked is perfect for those who have situations where they don't want to worry about a higher priced ereader that might get ruined. I really like it for the value. I am probably going to get another one. It's definitely not for everyone, but for me, and the price of it, it's a great deal!

Don't buy this!
There's nothing to like about this reader. The screen has no shades of gray just black and white. Consequently there's some things in your apps you can't see. It's slower than a snail on grease. There's so much bad about this reader I'll just leave it at that.

It's OK?
It works, I guess, if you're just wanting to read books, but don't expect to use it for anything else. Very slow. I bought it to journal on in the evenings, and unfortunately, it doesn't load my journal app.
