Liked that it did what it was described. Directions were clear and made well

I was using my sight tool to drift it into place and the mild steel started to deform. I couldn't proceed that way and used a brass punch and brass hammer and it kept deforming. I did try to get it in place and the screws wouldn't seat properly so I came back and saw where someone else's flew off and hit them in the face after a few rounds... so I'm glad I didn't even get to that point. For grins as it was already ruined, I tried the taller screws included as those seemed to be the same diameter and of better quality steel- I got those to bite, but they shaved metal off and finished the dovetail off. The dovetail is such poor steel that I can't in good conscience recommend rolling the dice on this mount. I consider it a total waste of money.

The plate fit Taurus 22.

I have a specialty sub, compact Glock 26. Being as it is a very unique pistol it has been quite difficult to find the proper mounting plate to allow for a reflex site to be applied not only is the price of this particular item astounding but the quality,Fitment and durability is unprecedented. The installation was extremely simple and I would recommend this to absolutely anyone and don’t be fooled by the low price. The only issue is that the two long screws that mount the reflects site to the adapter plate are about two threads too short. But if you are any kind of Mechanically minded person, and if you have any kind of tools in your toolbox, you simply need to drill out the hose about an 1/8 inch deeper and everything is perfect. I love it and I believe you will love this product as well. Thank you to the manufacture and to the seller of this item. I appreciate your business.

Putting tiny, super fine threads in aluminum will give you exactly the result you'd expect. Perhaps the .40 S&W is too intense for it, but it decided to jump off the pistol on the second shot. Tried remounting it and felt the threads holding the plate to the dovetail were stripped & it wouldn't tighten down. Product might be fine on a less "snappy" caliber. I did receive an offer to refund/replace. I guess my bad for not contacting the seller first.

I am not quick to leave negative product reviews but… This is the worst product I believe I have ever bought on Amazon. For reference I have a Glock 23 gen 4 9mm. Had it professionally installed at a gun store and spent $45 for that process (have receipts). Put 4 rounds through it. Yupp that’s right 4 bullets and it fell apart. My optic fell off and hit the ground. I have a scratched optic, out $45, plus the cost of the mount. Yes it was installed correctly yes red lock tight was used.
