I bought a mincer & it is really good. **Q: Does the kenwood kax400pl grate and slice as well as cube?** A: No you need the continuous slicer for that. I got both and both are good. The dicer is a godsend. The only downside, if you want to call it that, is if you're doing a lot it can get blocked in the square blades so you have to use the special tool to clean it. But really not a problem. The only issue is that it does not fit perfectly due to the round top of the kMix. It can be used this way with good results for now (I don't know if it will wear faster because it does not sit perfectly).
