They last about three days the adhesive is great. Delivery time is usually pretty fast. They’re great for long term wound care. I use these with a wound gel and it’s great. Would highly recommend this brand if you’re looking to keep a wound moist and covered.

Amazing bandages for surgical/draining wounds!
I don’t usually write reviews but these bandages were so amazing I had to write one. First of all, they are extremely comfortable to wear. The adhesive part flexes, fits and sticks seamlessly to the skin, even staying on while moving and bending and on contours of the skin that do not lay flat. It absorbs a large to moderate amount of drainage and the best part is when you remove them, it does not hurt at all! No irritation from having to change bandages multiple times a day. Comfortable enough for multiple changes and even wearing them overnight and even laying on them. The material locks in and feels breathable and it seems to also have a bit of a nonstick mechanism when changing them. The material seems to also be water resistant after the bandage is on. They are pricey but worth it!

Stick good but need to be split up from the bottom a little higher.
They adhere very well but it’s according to where you have to use them if. they stay in place and don’t roll up on the patient.

Consult a wound care specialist.
These are the best wound healing dressings I have ever used. And they don’t have to be changed every day.

TLDR: Worth every sad expensive penny .... maybe try skinprep+hypafix+gauze if on budget.
.... I've been dealing with a wound on the underside of my left arm [so a pretty high pressure/friction/traffic area] for almost 2 months now , twas the aftermath of an abscessed cyst [I believe anyway , never seen it come to a head & literally burst overnight & woke up to the wound] so there's a tunnel off of it & I've needed to go to a wound center. Now I am also extremely sensitive to adhesives even some claiming to be gentle or sensitive or silicone or latex free etcetcetc , so I've tried SO MANY THINGS in the past 7+ weeks! My go-to for the first 5 weeks [even while trying many other things] became using nonstick pads or gauze & wrapping a 4" wide self adhesive style wrap around my whole arm because it was the only thing that A) didn't break me out B) actually stayed put & C) it was water resistant enough that I could wash my hair without getting shampoo in the wound although I'd have to plan it around a dressing change because it would saturate it. Was also a cherry on top that it was affordable & not a gamble $$$. Anyhoos .... During my second to last wound center appt this was one of the things I was given to try [in 5½x5½] & oh my lord it does all the things! It DIDN'T break me out .... It actually STICKS to me WITHOUT mauling my skin .... & it's definitely waterproof [if applied flat + uncurled ; I need help with the spot mines in & my mother + grandmother struggled a few times hehe] so I could take a shower without planning it around a dressing change which is so nice considering my executive dysfunction lol ..... however something I did not notice with the ones the wound center gave me before ordering these that I will note is that the center pad seems to also be sticky? Ever since noticing that we've used a small single layer of gauze in the center because the idea of it sticking to my wound skeeves my mother & I out , although we never did with the few we were given so it must not have been a bad thing? lol Now if this is too pricey for you , believe me if my wound weren't finally just small enough to go from 5½x5½ down to 4x4 & pay 40% less I probably wouldn't have splurged either because I wanted at least 20 , but another thing I was given to try was Hypafix. Now Hypafix comes in a roll to cut however you want & you would use a separate nonstick pad or gauze over the wound with the hypafix as a backing. Now while it did not break me out it's been a crapshoot whether or not it mauls me .... I've probably used it a dozen times & 3 of them it was like trying to get superglue off , so I highly suggest soaking it at least a bit to help get it off if you go with this alternative. It was also much more affordable & seemed water resistant rather than proof but it still leaned more towards proof than the self adhesive wraps I was previously using so I didn't feel too in a rush to remove. I was also given a few "skinprep" wipes to use with this before buying my own roll [that were actually by Smith+Nephew also & are available if you click their store front page , I was given the Teal no-sting packaging] & those made a bit of a difference but not much .... may be worth it though , there's a lil spray version I may grab to pair with my Hypafix since I have to change twice a day at the moment. But yeah these are super worth it if you can manage it & are struggling as much as I did to find anything safe that also works!

Helpful unique shape
Using on an ankle bone is the best option I have been able to find. The design helps reduce bulking around wound. Border is thin enough to adhere and accommodate joint mobility. Adequate absorption.

A standard in hospitals for a reason
I purchased these to use for care of a slow-healing surgical wound for a family member. I use these often in the hospital, and they are well-worth the out of pocket costs for personal use. The dressing does a great job at holding drainage and keeping it away from the skin so that the wound has the right moisture for healing, but the surrounding skin does not break down. They offer excellent comfort for the wearer and protective cushioning without being bulky. The adhesive is secure without tearing fragile skin, and was very easy to remove. Prior to switching to these dressings, we were using ABDs and tape twice a day. After switching to the Allevyn Life dressings, we were able to reduce the frequency of the dressing changes to every few days and the wound began healing much faster and the surrounding skin was so much healthier. Truly liberating!

Perfetto

Great dressings
I was given these by the tissue viability nurses, but my GP surgery always changed the prescription to a cheaper version which wasn't as good. These caused no rash, they are easy to remove and are comfortable to wear.
