Bosch i-Boxx72-10 with Set 10 for use with Click and Go Storage System, Blue

If you're familiar with bosch's l-boxx line then this set will not disappoint. For those that don't know, these are manufactured by Sortimo for Bosch. Sortimo is made in Germany and is a very respected brand in Europe. This tray is compatible with both the l-boxx 3d and the newly released l-rack line. The organizers inside the tray are removeable and can be reconfigured to suit the users particular needs. The organizers are also interchangeable with the ones inside the l-boxx 1a. The box could also be stored inside the l-boxx 2,3,and 4, but would render the drawer function useless in that scenario. It should be fairly simple, but some post bad reviews because they don't check item descriptions.

After reading some reviews, was worried the plastic was brittle & would break easily. After a couple months of use,... no problem. The plastic is tougher than it looks,... but if I go gorilla on it I'm sure I could break it. I really love this Bosch organizer box with the clear top. The big molded handle is also handy. I didn't buy this 'tray' to fit into a Bosch storage box,...alway intended to use it free standing (there are no latches to lock into the Bosch case system). What I needed was a solution,... the big draw was the slick design, clear lid, and customizable compartments. Not completely waterproof but water resistant. I was looking for a solution for my big collection of drill bits and other small drill parts. I have drill bits all over the place & it got to the place I couldn't find the right size or type when I needed it. Hiding them inside closed cases just didn't help. Plus I could put everything in one place, easy to see & handy to carry. This clear top was the perfect solution. With the 30 day easy return I gave it a shot. Large or small, long or short, AT A GLANCE I can see what I need. Real time saver,...and everything in one spot. Nothing lost, nothing left behind, just toss it back in the bin and ready for the next job. Easy peasy. Will definitely buy another one or two (but on sale). At the current price (about 50$) that's a steep price for my wallet. Glad to have the one I own. Will buy again on sale @ $28 range & sometimes it drops down to that lower price range on Amazon for a short couple days. The colorful removable /reconfigurable trays are handy & found things to fill up every one. BOTT LINE: Good solid construction. Plastic turned out to be stronger than anticipated. The clear top is the real draw for me. Can organize different things easily. When my wife spotted the case she tried to sneak-steal it for her sewing stuff! Solved a l-o-n-g standing organizing problem for my drill bits. And for that, Earns 5-STARS!

This whole system is great. I put my electronics pieces in it (arduino etc). You can expand it out as you want. At night if you want to be quiet you can close the lid quietly and carefully close the tabs that keep the lids closed. This is nice if you have kids or a wife who probably doesn't want to hear you click-clicking these boxes open and shut while you work (heh).

I love the click & Go Storage capabilities of this box. All the small compartments, each individually arrangeable within the iBOXX, hold tools, and small parts and fits in the LBOXX-3D or as a stand-alone storage system. Well worth the money.

This storage tray system works great for me. I have a 5 trays high stack. The I-Boxx 72-10 will fit in the L-RACK-S storage shelf. If you want more than a 10-Piece organizer set, order a I-BOXX 72 tray separate and a Bosch ORG72-RED organizer set for i-Boxx72, and you'll be all set.

Not what it appears…

For those looking for a good Sortimo alternative, this is close. The individual boxes are Sortimo themselves and are noticably high quality. The Bosch container itself isn't great. It lacks any holes or any registration for the individual Sortimo boxes. As a result if you remove an individual box and try to carry the container the remaning boxes slide all over the place.
