Has done what physical therapy could not
This product has provided me with immediate relief. You have to start low and slow. However, itโs impact cannot be denied. Be gentle with yourself and donโt overdo it the first go round. But I carve out a little bit of my time each day to use this product because it has made a difference..

Versatile, durable, and light-weight
This is the fourth LittleMum product I've tried and now in my top 2 favorites, though probably the one I use the most. (One I returned because I didn't find it helpful, so I don't love them all blindly. :) ) I was particularly interested in this for targeting my middle-lower back muscles that are deeper and harder to reach with most tools. It took some time finding ways to use this and positioning myself right, but now that I've figured it out, I really, really like it. Remember to rest with pressure for the most effect. The back stretch side is great for a quick stretch and relief. It can often immediately adjust something to make things feel more in alignment. The neck/head massage parts are hit or miss for me. I have other tools that are better, and the rubber coating can pull on my hair. But if nothing else is around, it's nice to have this option. I don't find it to be the right position or depth for the iliopsoas release that it advertises. Other tools seem to be much more effective for me, especially when you can customize their positioning and targeting for your unique physiology. But it's quite possible this would work for some people. It's also small and light enough that I've been able to pack it in a carryon for a work trip, knowing the travel would likely put strain on my back.

Short term pain, long term reward...
The headline is intentional, as this device is not for those who do not appreciate the wisdom of this type of therapeutic device. Much like a theracane, it requires some trial and error, self learning about trigger points and how they respond, and understanding your personal challenges/issues. Just to be clear, I am not a workout warrior or fitness model/influencer. I am old dude who hurts more from doing nothing than something and wakes up sore and stiff unless I regularly exercise. I have a couple problem spots that result in chronic tendonitis (diagnosed tendonosis in rotator cuff and bicep as well as quad, hip flexor, and gluteus medius). It took me some time to figure out how this device and the other one they sell, as I bought both. This device was probably used as a torture device sometime in the past. But it also helped me dig into those areas and relieve some of the tension and increase the mobility while reducing the pain (will not eliminate the pain). I won't lie, I seriously considered returing this thing as the first few attempts were mostly pain. But with a little patience and tolerance of suffering, I found some uses for these that I have not found with a theracane, lacrosse ball, trigger point ball, etc... So it's staying in my bag of torture instruments. One piece of advice, find a decently sized open space on the floor with a little bit of padding to offset the discomfort you are about to inflict on yourself. Like most of these types of devices, some expert guidance is beneficial. After that, you just have to experiment carefully with an awareness of good, necessary pain vs pain that leads to injury. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is lack of guidance. The short video is a good start but honestly, there could be a series of them illustrating the different ways to position yourself and the device to apply pressure in the right spot and achieve the desired muscle release.

Excellent oddly shaped coated metal.
I also bought one for the shoulders, but that one didnโt line up with my body. This one I can use in every way that itโs intended and get my back to crack and get my scalp taken care of and my neck. I turn it backwards. I turn it forwards.. I run it down my spine, my upper shoulders: more ways than they show examples of. Itโs very capable of being used in a variety of ways and it brings relief. I recommend it.

God send little tool
Finally, after seven years in pain, I have found something that gives me relief along with another tool of theirs. Nothing on the market competes I've tried everything, I have an old injury from a car accident, which is a compression fracture. I'm trying to avoid surgery and this little thing has been a godsend. I wish I could afford everything they sell.
