I have a dish drying rack close to the switch for the garbage disposal. A couple of times a plate slid from the overfilled rack, hit the switch, and turned the disposal on. This is perfect for preventing the switch from turning on and a freak accident from occurring . I guess moving the drying rack would be even better.

The magnetic attachment snaps on in just seconds, and it's perfect for preventing accidental touches on switches.However, it isn’t 'childproof' against toddlers or new-borns, if they could reach the switches, due to the weak magnet. It will not withstand the curiosity of little ones. Nonetheless, I am very pleased with the product.

The media could not be loaded. This product is pretty cool and sticks well with the magnets. I’ve been using it when I clean near the sockets in the bathroom to keep them from getting wet while cleaning the sink. The main reason I purchased this product was to prevent my 4-year-old son with autism from constantly turning the lights on and off in the hallway, kitchen, and living room. Unfortunately, my son is too smart for these guards and figured out he can easily knock them off.While I found a different use for them and think they are neat, if you're looking for something a child can't easily remove, this might not be the product for you.

These are amazing!!They work just as they are designed to work and the magnet sticks well.

These were terrible. The magnet wasn’t strong at all, so kids were easily able to knock them off to get to the switch underneath. They didn’t work at all for what I needed.
