Excellent value set
Let me be clear up front. I'm a knife snob and mostly use my Miyabi or Bob Kramer Damascus. But i've always liked the way that the Global knives looked so a bought this set. Very pleased with them. For the price, they punch way above their weight. The serrated blades are scary sharp and the chef is very nice too. The handles feel good in the hand and the knives are well-balanced.

Awesome set of knives.
I did buy my first Global knife because it was recommended by Anthony Bourdain. And when it was time to replace my Henckels, I went for this set. I love it. They're super sharp - I've already cut myself by grazing it with my finger accidentally... thankfully it wasn't a deep cut. They are beautiful and the different knife sizes are very useful. My first one was a Santoku and so now I feel like I have everything I need. My Henckel bread knife broke so this one served as a great replacement. Also the price is amazing for this set.

Worth Every penny!
I have had a couple of Global knives for a long time and I love them. the handles are so comfortable for all day use! This set is an incredible price, if you are considering buying them then go ahead you will not regret it.

I recommend them
My friend had the smaller serrated knife at her house and she used it for everything. I saw that they had a set so I bought it in May (it's now November) and they are delightful! I don't know how long they will stay so sharp, but so far so good. I enjoy food prep not being such an onerous task.

Perfect
These are beautiful, durable and VERY SHARP knives. They feel PERFECT in my hands. I love these knives!!! Note that the pairing knife has a blade that is a bit thick and not flexible at all. I do keep a thin , flexible one for certain tasks.
