This backpack is ideal for youngsters aged 3>7.  Its functional as well as being sturdy & any fan of Fireman Sam will be very happy with it.  It's a standard bag with 1 zip up compartment which can hold enough for the child's needs without over filling.My boy is happy with this bag, & although he also likes to swing it around , it seems to be able to take the punishment!
