Totally ineffective
Completely ineffective with those tiny ants we have indoors here in Dubai, they just walk around the baits but not a single one of them felt the urge to approach and enter it... I even cut one open to leave that soaked sponge on the floor near the crack they come from but none of them seem attracted

Great product.
Never had an ant problem anywhere I've lived until last month. I was in the master bathroom and noticed dozens of small black ants surrounding the drain in the tub. I wiped them out then sprayed. No leaks anywhere, I sealed the caulking along the tiles. It didn't really need it but thought it couldn't hurt. Then I sprayed ant spray. The next night, same thing and it went on for a few weeks. I began noticing a long line of them coming from a tiny hole by the window, going across the windowsill and down the wall, along the baseboard to the tub/shower. I sprayed outside, no improvement. In fact, it seemed to get worse. Sprayed in/out for several nights. Caulked. No difference. This led me to look for solutions on Amazon. Raid had mostly good reviews, will carry back to the queen and kill off the nest...ok, sounds good. I bought it. I put out 4 bait stations. Had to place carefully because it drew my cats interest. The first station was obviously placed by the pinhole next to the bathroom window. In the middle of the night, I checked for ants. Very few ants! I looked at the bait traps, nothing in three of them but a couple dozen were inside the trap on the windowsill. They were moving around as more came in to join the party. The next morning, that trap was completely empty. I'm guessing they left for the castle. It's been a week now, and no ants whatsoever.

Easy to place and actually helped with the ant issue
I got these because we had ants coming in and I wanted something simple that didnโt involve spraying around the house. I also liked that these could be used indoors or outdoors, because with ants, the problem usually starts somewhere before you actually see them inside. These were very easy to use. I just placed them where I was seeing activity and near the areas where I thought they might be coming in. The traps are not pretty, but they are discreet enough that they do not look terrible sitting out for a short period of time. I also did not have issues with leakage or mess, which was one of my bigger concerns with liquid bait. The ants did seem to find the bait, and after giving it some time, the activity noticeably slowed down. This is not an instant fix where everything disappears the second you set them out, but that is normal with bait traps. You kind of have to let them do their job. I also appreciated that I could use them without a lot of effort or setup. The main safety note is just to be mindful of where you place them if you have kids or pets around, since it is still pest control. Overall, these worked well for the problem I bought them for. They were easy, not messy, and helped get the ant situation under control without making me feel like I had to spray chemicals everywhere.

Putting clear plastic on window to keep ant out in addition to using this and sprays
It may be too soon to give a review. It seemed to work, but I am still having ant issues.

It works very well.
It really works. I had a bunch of black ants for months around the patio door. I put two traps out and in three days no ants.

Be patient
Okay I came back to change my review. The first few days the ants basically played around this thing and it was like a big joke to them. I left 1 star because they were more interested in the white square traps and seemed completely uninterested in these. But I had to come back with updates because on day 3 it was like an ant party inside this trap too. So just be patient I guess. We actually put a drop of honey in the problem area, let the ants get crazy like dozens and dozens (they love honey) and this establishes a strong chem trail. Then put the trap right in the middle of that established chem trail ant route, and remove the honey. They'll continue internally responding to their "food here at the end of this trail" signal hive command, and immediately pivot to seek the trap to bring back to the colony (which will wipe them out)
