Absolutely outstanding.
I have been having problems using my usb dac with my Samsung phone since it updated to Android 15 One UI 7. For some reason the volume to my headphones would drop dramatically for no reason, and there would be odd squawking noises in the music. I saw this adaptor advertised as HiRes compatable at a very low price. I was so fed up with the issues I was having I decided to buy one. I can say that all my problems have disappeared now. All types of music files play faultlessly. And the sound quality is absolutely outstanding. In fact I can't get over how brilliant the sound is from such a compact adaptor. It drives my very high impedance Sennheiser headphone to high volumes with no problems. No going back to comparatively large DAC's for me, it's been a revelation.

Great Sound Due to Inbuilt DAC Chip
Works very well and provides clear and consistant quality sound to an amplifier or powered speaker. Recommended.Amendment:Some reviews indicated that this adapter stopped working, after a period of use, possibly due to the cable flexing repeatedly. As a precaution I put some black shrink tubing the length of the cable including a bit of each plug and socket. Then I put some larger red shrink tube overlapping the black tubing and the plug and socket. This has the effect of making the cable section bend in an arc from the middle, rather than sharply at the ends. Hope this helps.

Great headphone DAC/AMP with loads of power and a clear & crisp solid-state sound
Fantastic USB-C headphone jack. Plenty of power and clean, precise sound you would expect from a solid-state dac/amp. When using on android, ensure that you use an app to directly connect to the DAC to avoid OS-cased distortion like USBAudioPlayerPro from the App Store. This works at the 24-bit 192KBPS advertised sample rate flawlessly. Way more power on tap than the apple dongle. My favourite dongle this side of the Moondrop Dawn Pro.

Better than expected......Way better.
I had purchased an Anker adpater and this Ugreen version and the Ugreen wins hands down on sound clarity and quality. The Anker sounded very flat but the Ugreen produced some really rich sound. Its a keeper! I cannot comment on longevity at this stage but it is only for occasional use. Give it a whirl!

Excellent
Wanted to use with my iPhone type C connection and corded headphones to get the best of lossless/dolby music when streaming. Excellent price, well made, easy to use and perform well. Well worth the money.

Silly claims of 'hi-res audio'
Should have paid more attention and checked the reviews before buying. Experiencing intermittent popping when listening to audio. Also, the 'updated' 32Bit/384 Khz' is total nonsense. Most recording studios record at 24bit/48KHz, this is considered lossless and as high as you'll get from any streamer, CD quality is 16bit/44.1KHz (considered HD for a streamer). If this thing is really converting at 32Bit/384 Khz I suspect this is the source of the popping when its trying to upscale to this ridiculous bit depth and sample rate. It's getting returned.

Great product, recommended
This is the 3rd different adapter (from other suppliers) that I've bought for my Google Pixel 8a. The first 2, which were priced at £4.99 and £8.99, had to be returned as the quality was terrible, with the sounds not consistent and breaking up. This adapter cost almost as much as the other 2 put together, but is definitely worth the money. The sound is great and consistent. The connectors fit perfectly and don't come out. No crackling, no missing speech on Audible, and it seems well made. I would recommend this product.

Not suitable for mobile use
Solid build and sounds good when it works, but it frequently disconnects when using with my phone, and as a result, is not useful for mobile use.I'm sure it would be fine for home use, which is why i gave it 3 stars, but its no use at all for on the go hi res listening, so I'm returning it.
