Excellent For Price!
My mother lost ability to walk after a back surgery gone wrong. I wanted a good brand who stands behind their products, but I didn't have money to buy one. With the 0% interest on Amazon card for 12 months I was able to get it. This scooter works great and we're very pleased. Wish it had a light, but that's the only complaint. I've taken it on two doctors visits and it's easy to make trunk ready so that is a huge bonus. I've rode it to a rehabilitation facility she was at to test it out, and back home when she got out. I wanted to know it was good for her. So, no light is only complaint, and that makes it a winner in my book. Just keep in mind three wheels can tip easier than four, if you think it will be an issue. It's great for us, and fits all our old door frames that are smaller. Turns incredibly sharp, the bonus of three instead of four wheels. Perfect for our needs! I'm glad I bought it, and she calls it her new ride, so she's happy with it too. Can't be more happy for a new scooter at this price that's perfect. Picture at her rehabilitation facility with me on it.

I like it alot.
My scooter arrived a few days ago from Amazon. It took about 1 hour for my wife and I to get it out of the box and put it together. I charged the battery until the charging light went off. (About 3 hours) Then I took it on it's maiden voyage. My wife walked with me as we traveled around the neighborhood. So here are my impressions so far: -It's quick. The manual says the top speed is 4 mph. That sounds slow, but my wife who is a fast walker had to ask me to slow down. -It's very quiet. -Its easy. I rode it around the neighborhood without breaking a sweat. :-) -It's fun. -It moves very nicely on smooth pavement. I tried it for a short distance on the lawn. It was OK there too although the lawn was fairly flat so I'll have to try it out on a bumpier section in the future. -Three wheel scooters such as this one are not as stable as the four wheeled ones. But I didn't have any problem with that. Just take it slow when turning. -The price was less than most comparable scooters. (But yes it is made in China) -Most scooters can be broken down into several parts for transporting in your car. The heaviest of those parts might be the limiting factor in determining if you can lift it into your car. Of the scooters I looked at this one had the lightest heavy part, only 27.5 pounds. My wife and I were able to break it down and load it into the back of my Jeep Patriot with little trouble. The best thing to have is a good pair of legs that allow you to walk around normally. But if illness or injury has taken that from you then this scooter might be the next best thing. So far I like it ...alot! Just 1 negative and its a very minor one; The horn is pretty anemic- Your PC probably makes a louder beep when it doesn't like something you did.

Best scooter ever!
I have 2 of these. We bought one in 2012 and one in 2014. We have been on 20+ cruises. Disney 4 times. Three years ago I had emergency bypass surgery and I have used them non stop. I have one in the house and one in the car. The one in the house is really showing it's age. Probably the drag racing my granddaughters did years ago. We would take the across the street to the parking lot and let them go. Parts are easy to get. We have 6 batteries. You can get them on Amazon. I bought a new seat cover but haven't put it on because I'm using as a pattern to make one. You can get them cheaper. (We got one for $400) but you couldn't change the battery and the horn was horrible. We gave it to my sister-in-law and it was donated to the veterans after she passed. Be careful on the grass. I have my feet down so I won't tip. Also, be aware of the handicap ramps. I missed one and went airborne, didn't break anything a couple bruises. Not a scratch on the scooter. It goes through small doorways in the house. We have a Pacifica my son made an awesome platform so hubby takes seat off, we lift the scooter in the back. Seat and scooter go in the back. You could take off the battery to make it lighter. If you want a reliable scooter Pride is the way to go.

Small but easy to travel with
I've seen the reviews about how this scooter is very easy to tip. Yes it is, because it is a smaller version of other 3 wheel scooters. It is not as wide as a full size scooter, nor is it as long. However, it is very easy to put together and fits in the trunk of my mid size sedan. I wanted a smaller, easy to maneuver and easy to lift scooter to be used on flat surfaces such as when shopping at the mall or grocery stores. I would recommend it for use on any flat, level surface but not for uneven terrain outdoors. It is perfect for its intended use (lightweight, easy assembly and small size). I have a full size Pride Victory 10 that I use for the outdoors, but it is too big and too heavy to be taken down to lift into and out of the car. It must be taken apart in several pieces and put back together each time I travel. By taking only the basket and seat off, I can easily lift this travel scooter (in one piece) into and out of my car. It's called a Travel Pro for a good reason - it's perfect for traveling.Bottom line-If you want stability on most ANY surface, go with a full size 3 or 4 wheel scooter. If you want ease and flexibility this little scooter is perfect.

Nice Mobility scooter and transportable
Overall this a good scooter. The scooter was very well packaged, and assembly was easy .the directions were clear. Easy to pack and travel with. Take apart into 4 pieces and store in trunk, easy to handle. You can reassemble in under 5 minutes .Recently used for two cruises with no problems.Found maneuverability was good .Battery life is good. The only thing that may be a concern is that it can tip easy as it only has 3 wheels. So just use caution when operating. It exceeds my expectations and is fairly priced.

Yup..this baby made me love going outside again
Its a great little scooter but it takes practice..like the tipping...dont go sideways on slanty ground..like the entrance to driveways..the ramp at crosswalks ect...go head on..and dont turn until you hit flat ground. Since it only has 1 wheel up front your feet turn to sides.. thinking of putting bar across it to lay feet on..something...battery connection came apart the first day..but once i pushed scooter back i figured it out...tested it out uphill and it beeped and died when i went to steep...pushed the button next to charging port and . poof..back running again Biggest thing is the first 3 days..stay close to house until you work out bugs....Like taking the scooter apart in order that you put in car...then put together the opposite way..takes less than a minute if you put in order The speed IS SEVERELY LACKING..i barely beat out a dog who looked on life support after its master worked him out. Wish I could soop the speed up. ...but taking it out now on longer trips and soaking in the good life I missed out on cuz i couldnt walk the distances...so even the speed doesnt bother me that much anymore...jimmy rigged my "cruise control" a bundy cord stretched across to opposite side controller..wedged in so it keeps the scooter on full blast...zip tie mattached to bundgy cord so i can release when coming to a stop....but my sisters brilliant suggestion was that when i neeed to slow down..use the knob on slow or fast...then turn back up to get the juice going instead of pulling bundgy cord out every time i slowed down. Only use the cruise control on LONG DRIVES. but overall this baby has changed my life...im an outdoor person again and seeing the sights even in my small town has been inspiring...didnt know their was so much open space out there..and the people ive met on my travels has made me believe in people again. Just so sweet and kind. Yup..im a believer again. Just added pics of my bungy cord "cruise control"..usually these come in packs of bungy cords..but the addition of zip ties makes it so im not trying to find the ball..just jerk on bungy and it loose again. Just went for a 4 mile jaunt and saved my trigger thumb some pain.

Compact, strong, easy to assemble
This comes in a big, heavy box and it’s difficult to get the frame out for assembly. This is fine if you are an able-bodied person putting this together for a loved one, but if you struggle with mobility issues, you may want a second person to help out. The batteries come fully charged which was appreciated. My mother got to test this out on Christmas Day, and for the first time got to come with us as we took the dogs for a walk. There is a dial rather than set speed settings so she could go at a comfortable pace (i.e., molasses) but it can go much faster for the speed demons out there. She has poor balance in general but while on the scooter felt very comfortable and safe, which is something I was afraid wouldn’t be possible with 3 wheels. The horn is weak and isn’t going to get anyone’s attention in a crowded store, and it DOES NOT beep when backing up. The seat is wide and comfy, and the armrests (which raise and lower) are adjustable for wider users. My mother is not heavy but a bit tall so the seat had plenty of room but we couldn’t get the ideal handle angle without it compromising her ability to get on and off. But the only thing on the display is the battery charge level, which is not something she has to consistently check. She is very happy with it and so am I.

Pretty impressive for the price
Just received this very quickly from Amazon (sold by SpinLife Wheelchairs and Scooters). Ordered on Monday night and it arrived Thursday afternoon to Ohio with FREE shipping. I cannot vouch for it's durability yet but assembly was easy and the battery was nearly charged up when it arrived. I cannot find the "Travel Pro" model listed on the Pride Mobility website so this is obviously a budget model that Pride does not promote. I was able to find the PDF user manual for the 'Travel Scooter Series' and it does list the Model 36 (A full printed manual is included but I always like to have the digital version in my Dropbox folder). This model is listed at 599 on Amazon but I see it in other listings on Amazon for 799 so watch out. This particular listing also included the cup holder and accessory bag so that is a nice bonus! The swivel seat works quite nicely and is height adjustable with width adjustable arm rests. The handlebar can also be adjusted fore and aft. Controls are easy to use and the horn will never annoy anyone because you can barely hear it! There is a lever at the rear axle that provides NEUTRAL and DRIVE positions. If it is in neutral, it can be pushed around but turning on the key will produce several beeps to inform you that the drive mechanism is not engaged. Very impressed so far, now we'll see if my mom will use it.
