Woodpeckers have to fight their way to these. ALL of our birds have taken a liking to them (except hummingbirds). They disappear rapidly, We started putting them on the deck railing (flat) so everyone would get a chance. It's a regular bird dance out there now. Such fun to watch. Beware of the pesky squirrels and raccoons, however. For raccoon problems, just take the cakes in for the night and back out in the morning.

Good bird attraction. They love it. But, it is greasy when warm. I recommend holding it with the plastic wrap around it as you load the suet cake into the wire cage.

I am not a bird dietician, so I cannot comment on seed nutrition - when I first ordered this I was a little skeptical. The birds where I live in Northern California, in the country love it. Mostly woodpeckers, blue jays and flickers. However I have seen smaller birds eating it also. Our yard birds have eaten so fast I just ordered a second box. I have bought all kinds of suet from local feed stores - and I would say this is one of the birds favorites. Since it is cooler weather now cannot comment on “melting”. We have never had a flicker eat on suet before, and I love to watch it work and work to get a “chunk”. The birds and myself recommend.

Great price for a nature lovers staple. A well fed bird is a happy bird & I like them to hang out near my deck. ⭐️

I personally didn’t taste this, but my birds love it! Come to the feeder every day.

Good product; so far, the birds seem to like it. Less expensive here than at our local big box stores.
