I'm using these solely for motorcycle riding in cold weather.These are very comfortable in terms of the fabric type and thickness, except for the bulge of the battery. If you're planning to wear this under tight fitting pants, prepare to feel a little discomfort from it pressing against the battery--or you might even have trouble getting the pants over the battery. I've run into this with some of my jeans (but eventually get them over). And then when I add thermal riding pants on top, it definitely feels tight and a little uncomfortable if I don't have everything pulled down so it's not bunched anywhere.They are quite long and will keep the calves warm and snug. The heating elements are placed well to warm the toes, feet and lower legs. The button to adjust heat levels is on the top of the battery, and unfortunately it's not going to be very accessible at all once you have your pants on. Theoretically you could feel around and try to push the button through your clothing, but you'd have to guess as to whether a button press really happened and remember which setting you were on, etc. I definitely see the allure of the heated gear that has Bluetooth and app adjustment (what a world we live in that such things exist)! But, for the relatively low price of these socks, I understand why it's not included (not a huge deal).The batteries seem to last awhile in terms of charge. I love that they use USB-C so that they can be charged from any number of power sources!The heat produced is definitely noticeable and quite nice. My only complaint is that even on the highest setting, during very cold weather (teens *F) my feet don't feel "warm" but only just barely okay (not cold either). So I can tell it must be struggling a bit. This is inside winter boots, not with a ton of thermal protection but enough that my feet don't feel freezing without the heated socks. If it's above freezing, then the socks' warmth can definitely be felt especially on the highest setting. But if you're expecting to have toasty toes when it's well below freezing and on a motorcycle (or something else moving through the wind) then you probably won't get it with these. If you just want something to keep your feet and toes from feeling cold, then these should work great!Overall, definitely recommend especially given the great pricing!

Not very warm. Definitely not sized for women, though it says unisex. I wear a women's US 9 shoe and they are huge on my feet.

I wish the battery would stay charged longer. They really only heat if you’re standing and putting pressure on your feet if you’re just lounging around though they don’t do much.

Socks have 3 temperature settings. Don’t bother with low and mid settings; you won’t notice. With the max temperature setting it takes 15 minutes for you to feel the “heat”.That said, these are ok for the house, or a cool fall day. But be careful relying on these during cold winter days outdoors.Build quality of the sock is nice. Enjoyable to wear, despite insufficient heat delivery.

I feel like it paid for itself in one night. My feet were always cold at granddaughters soccer and baseball games. What a difference these socks make. I wish I would of had these when it was visiting up north.
